This device was very easy to set up. I just wish the cord was slightly shorter, so that it does fall when i move between desk and lap for my computer.

Best external hard drive. This is my third one and they all work great. Never a proplem with them. seagate is one of the first hard drives when computers first started out so I think they know what they are doing. I used to build my own computers and never used anything than seagate.
