Good product. Disappointed that it will only sync with one designated computed. Otherwise, it did the job and backed up all I needed it to.

Of course the name Seagate has long been synonymous with speed and reliability, which is definitely a strong selling point but the fact that BestBuy had it featured on sale helped alot! Although I've only had he Slim a few weeks, it has proven itself as everything it's supposed to be. As long as it continues to perform this way (2 Year Warranty) I'll be happy!

I have plugged this backup drive in to my computer but I'm not quite sure how to retrieve the data from it, not very computer literate.

I needed an additional external hard drive for work and went with this Seagate based on size of HD / price combination. I like how small the actual case is and that it can run just off the power of the PC / Laptop. After being plugged in for a while though, it does start making a mechanical clicking sound - hoping this is not indicative of a future failure.

The external hard drive is easy to use, very reliable and quiet.

USB 3.0 worked fast when attached to a 3.0 port. Had enough room for the purpose I was using it for.

Just bought this last month and it has been doing everything I wanted it too. It jumps through rings of fire, flies, and can stop a speeding train! No it really doesn't do all that, however it does a great job backing up my photos and other computer files. Does not weigh much at all and easy to carry.

I like the dimensions of the drive and await further storage size increases in this format. I have been unable so far to take advantage of USB 3 speed increase. I've installed USB 3 card and hub but still get boot notice saying I need to connect to USB 3 for faster speed.

I just needed to pull data off of an old PC. This external hard drive did the job wonderfully.

The best part of the external, portable hard drive is peace of mind. I'm SO glad we have it!

Got this when my Macbook Pro needed to be repaired and I needed to back up my files due to the risk of losing them again when fixing the computer. Although I did not end up needing the backup, it will still come in handy if something ever did happen to it! And, the best part was the Geek Squad did it all for me!!

I bought this external hard drive for backing up my personal pictures, documents and all other stuff that I did not want to loose. It was easy to set up but had trouble locating all the stuff I had in my lab top. Overall it is nice and a great value for the price.

This product was recommended by the salesman. Was told it was one of the best products for what we needed. Our purchase was handled in a timely manner and installation was very easy. Have recommended this product to other friends and they are also very happy with it.

Wow, so easy to use and convenient to take anywhere. Much more secure than using the Cloud. Able to see all my documents and photos, able to delete or move or upload. I recommend this to anyone to use.
