I purchased the Seagate Slim external 500gb USB portable hard drive for work since my laptop uses an SSD. The write and retrieve is pretty fast, was impressed, I also use this to install applications that write quite often so that I don't damage the SSD. I highly recommend this hard drive.

This is the 1st time I have ever backed up a computer. It couldn't have been any easy than it was with Seagate. It was so simple, the instructions walked you through step by step which is great for me because I am never up to date with technology. It also kept you updated with the status of the backup. I am so happy I finally decided to get a backup.

This is a Backup Slim I bought for backing up all our digital pictures taken since 2004. Needed something that would hold all of them and so far so good as it took all the folders with no problem. Is small enough I can storage anywhere too.

I wish I had thought about this before. I was able to backup my lengthy screenplays, and my research files for all my documentary projects as well and I still have plenty of storage space. Unlike the regular flash drive (even sandisc) it is sturdy and reliable.

This product has helped me tremendously to back up all my files and family pictures. I'm very happy with this purchase.
