Works perfectly. Recommend for HP owners with Windows 8.

Takes about 5 min to give a solid wifi signal, but good to go after that.

This product is awesome. They make it very easy to use and transfer data to. I purchased this to watch videos on the plane. I travel a lot so I need lots of movies. This hard drive has it all.

Very easy to set up. Attractive design. Fast file transfers.

For the price, everybody should have at least one of these hard drives, I have two, you get to add 1000 gigs of space for your uses on your tablet, phone, and laptop, how can you go wrong. I put movies, music, audiobooks, projects for work and school,

The Seagate Wireless Plus 1 TB drive tries to do too much. Excellent, but over priced, as a USB Desktop PC external storage drive. Drives in this class with identical capabilities are available at more affordable prices. The WiFi capability then must justify the premium price. A drive of this capacity begs for a file management capability. I couldn't find any. Even Seagate technical support confirmed. Their answer was to connect the drive to a PC, which by the way disables the WiFi support. My initial high hopes for a flexible high capacity WiFi storage device with USB support remains just a hope. Returned.

I take it wherever I go with iPad,nice and user friendly.

I bought this for a recent road trip for my family to use in the car. It worked out great! All the kids were able to watch a different movie to each of their iPads all at the same time.

This hard drive is a must for anyone who enjoys music and movies on the go. Very easy to transfer files and the USB 3 is extremely fast. No loss of signal and outstanding compatibility.

This is a good product and performs as advertised, but even when streaming, the seagate app stores too much data in the cache requiring you to delete and reinstall the app to clear the cache after streaming a few movies. Otherwise, works well. Save movies from PC and streamed to three apple devices on the go at the same time.

Love how small it is and how much storage space it has!

Works great, local wifi so any computer can save to it locally

This external hard drive makes taking your music and movies easy. This is the solution to not having wifi connections while traveling or being away from modern civilization. GREAT

This product solves your memory issues on your iPads etc. a great way to keep all your movies and tv shows that you've downloaded. Use it to also back up your computer or any other device. I keep it in my car and always have all my entertainment with me and therefor I didn't have to buy the much more expensive iPad .

The wireless is not working that well. And it doesn't support many format.

Great external hard drive. I just think it is a little pricey

I bought this after a friend showed me his wireless hard drive. Since then, I have recommended it, and at least 4 others that I know have purchased one after seeing it in action.

This 1TB Wi-Fi drive is excellent value. I can now keep my (nearly full) 16GB iPad and access all my movies, photos and files directly from the Seagate drive. Up to 4 devices can watch movies at the same time, great for road trips.

Very useful to share files with a group of friends, particularly pictures in my case. Wireless setup was difficult if the device you are trying to connect it to is already connected to a wireless access point/hotspot since a device cannot be connected to it and the drive at the same time. Disconnecting from the wireless access would sometimes trigger a reconnection before a connection with the drive could be established. The on-off button is sensitive to being pushed a certain way, has no click or feel when pushed, and turns off much easier than it turns on. Just brushing the button with the side of my hand has turned the device off, while it has taken several pushes to turn on.

Going on a long plane ride/ kids in the car for a vacation, then this is little wireless hard drive is for you. Down load over 1,000 movies / TV shows and play them through your tablet. AWESOME!
