I was told about the seagate by a best buy manager in san antonio on vacation and when I got home and plugged it in my life changed....lol..I haven't had a problem with my purchase and would highly recommend it.

I am very happy with this product. the battery life is not as long as advertised. only getting about 4 or 5 hours max. that is really my only complaint. would be nice if it had a built in reader for books and comics so I could read them from the device. movies and music stream fine.

A lot of space but a little complicated to install and use.

If you are looking for a wireless drive, this item is perfect. I have a number of hard drives and this one is my first Seagate. So far it's worked well. We'll see how it works with the kids while on vacation.

Works as promised, just wished software did not need an upgrade out of the box. Not easy for the novice to perform. Wireless capability works as described, great addition for those big Ipad files.

I bought this because I wanted an external drive for backing up pictures.... I tried this on a a friend's Hot Spot & it did not work well at all. It acted glitchy and we kept having to reload the pictures (over 1500) and they loaded very very slowly. That was very frustrating. When I used it on my new $200 NetGear Router it worked much better, less glitchy & much faster. The glitchy factor may actually have more to do with learning the proper way this works in order to use it correctly as I found out how it loads & what mode you are in when it is loading pictures. In Slideshow mode it stops loading pictures if they did not all load yet. Still learning how to use it. But since I have a Tablet & multiple notebooks it's nice to have the wireless option.

great product for ipad users highly recommend for anyone who needs storage space

I really needed a wy to back up things from my iPad. I don't know how to do anything techy. And the associate at Best Buy was SO GREAT and HELPFUL.. The Seagate wireless did the job and I am happy with it.

Bought this to load movies to allow grand children to play on iPads, iPods, etc on the car. Works great!

Sure is handy to have, and be able to be satisfied with a 16gb iPad, but still have all of the files, music, photos & videos I want with me, and be able to share with others as I desire.

Very easy to set up. I use it connected to my laptop and wireless with my iPads . . . works great!

This is a great drive for storing everything, and access is very responsive. I use the drive daily & it has never let me down! I waiting to the 2gb or even 3 or 4, the bigger the better!

I bought this to use with a WIIU and it works great. The salespeople didn't know what would work, but I saw that it says on the side of the box to use it for Game Consoles.

Works great with my Ipad. Streams movies and music to my Ipad with no problem. Carries a great distance so no need to be in the same room with the drive. Would highly recommend to a friend.

I bought this for a long car ride with the kids and hoped it would pass the time. It does do what it says but takes really a long time to connect. I ended up returning it but will probably try again when the newer model comes out.

Works exactly as described. Bought to watch vids on my iPad. Especially when on a cruise or in car with no wifi. Had a bug, I thought, turned out I was mistaken...customer support was top notch. Walked me thru entire process. Great product.

Bought this so I could watch movie files on my iPad when offline. Works well for that. Photo viewing can be slow. Is not great for mass storage and iPad use, but great for movies!!

I got this so I can access data (photos of scrapbooking idieas) from my computer on the ipad - and it's working pretty well so far... only downside is - I can't save photos from the ipad to the folders i have set up on the harddrive...
