The Seagate wireless plus is a good way to carry all of your media files with you.

I love the wireless feature of this and it is a work horse.

Why not get a smaller GB iPad or iPhone and carry all of your movies, tv shows, music, documents, etc, around on this one hard drive. Connects to your device via an ad-hoc WiFi connection and more than one person can share the hard drive at the same time. Great device to use with your tablet or phone or pc/mac.

I bought this so I could back up wirelessly on the go with my Macbook Pro. On the outside of the packaging it said it was compatible with Macs. When I went to set it up I found out it cannot be used with Time Machine. It is useless as a backup hardrive. As a wire less external hard drive it is good if it is being used as extra storage.

I use this to catch up on shows and movies when I travel. on last trip had five people connected at same time. no lag. Only problem was friends Windows 8 surface tab would not connect no matter what we tried. What did connect, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 3,4,5, and mac pro, and windows 7 PC. Only issue was got pretty hot when five people were streaming. For price a sleeve would have been nice.

I like the drive very much. It's what I wanted for my two computers and iPad to share common data. I don't like the fact that wifi turns off the moment you plug in the USB cable. However, I guess I can live with that. I have entire video library installed on the drive and can hit it from all directions. Great technology! I shopped here because this vendor is a USAA preferred merchant.

I was looking for an external hard drive that could be accessed seamlessly from all my devices using my wi-fi connection. It can be accessed, but not seamlessly. All devices must download additional software, and then all media can only be accessed through the software.

I love this product! It is extremely easy to use & perfect for traveling.

I recently bought this Seagate for a family RV trip. It did everything it said it would and kept my kids entertained throughout our getaway. At one point it had all four of us watching completely different movies at the same time without a hitch. I would recommend this to anyone. Great job Seagate!

I use this all the time on holiday. Loaders some movies and tv series we had at home and it worked a charm. One other feature that we found was that as our guest house only had wifi in communal areas if we positioned it by the door. It could log on to the wifi and broadcast in our room. Bonus!!!

Purchased to store videos to transfer wirelessly to my iPhone & android tablet (Samsung Galaxy 10.1). The Seagate unit was recommended to me by Best Buy for this purpose. Have yet to successfully download a single video. Went online and downloaded the manual, and still no success. At $200, should be more user friendly!
