I have been looking high and low for a way to expand the memory capability of my iPad. This did the trick plus I can share the files with the kids. It makes for very quiet car rides now!

There are a few things I would change about what you can do from your phone. However, it does the job and its relatively easy once you figure it out.

Most mobile device companies offer more expensive versions of their products to obtain higher storage capacity. This product solves that problem and more!

It did take more time than I expected to load movies but it was an easy way to transport them for a road trip.

Overall I like it but it does have a few issues. But i'd buy it again as it allows you to play all your tunes and i have a large collection wirelessly

Very good device that makes travel easier. I was able to leave my full size laptop at home and use my small convertible unit while traveling.

I bought this for my kids when we travel. I have placed all of their movies on this and have them connect to it on their iPad and Kindle to watch their movies. Now no more disks to worry about scratching and I never have to hear another kids movie again in the van.

This has solved my issue for storage of material without the use of "a cloud."

This has been the best item I have added to my travel bag. I have my music and videos on the hard drive to enjoy in my hotel room when traveling for work. I have viewed movies on my tablet using the wireless, and it has work flawlessly. It was very simple to setup and easy of use. I plan on purchasing one for home.

Doesn't have a good battery. Drains even when not in use unplugged to either wall or usb. Will be returning hope it's hue a defective unit. Other than battery great unit.

Real easy to use being wireless is a major plus! 1TB is a lot of space for me!

Hard drive great for storage of movies for iPads and really great price

I always wanted to take a lot of movies on road trips, but even with a 32 gig iPad, I had to make last minute syncs and determined what movies and tv shows to get and which not. But now with the Seagate Wireless Plus, I have a whole terabyte of entertainment that I can sync on my iPad.

Overall, the concept and execution are incredible for the money. Incorporating wireless into the case was genius and I wish that others would follow suit. Gave it a 5 out of 5 as there is nothing like it available today, otherwise it would be a 4 out of 5. Seagate wins me over once again!

This is a great product! It's a little pricey compared to the normal 1TB external drives, but for good reason. It's USB3 compatible and has WiFi and a battery built in. I use it to serve up videos to my iPhone, iPad, and laptop via a web interface. The great thing is, you can still be connected to the Internet while you're connected to the drive's WiFi network.

I have now loaded most of my movies and all of my music and have lots of memory left. If you read the info provided on the drive you would not make the mistake of buying the drive to store Apple (iTunes movies) on, because the copyright protection will not let you play the movie this way. But if you register those movies with other sources like DISNEY, VUDU, FLIXSTER, etc. then those movies can be played using the converted format.

I bought this to store all music and video files so they are accessible by all computers in my home network. Haven't finished moving all the files yet but have had zero issues so far. Not because drive is slow, but because I'm taking my time so as not to copy multiple versions of the same song. I would recommend this drive to a friend.
