However didn't keep this because it doesn't meet S tier standards on Tom's hardware psu tier list on reddit..it's a Blue A tier which is fine, excellent really. However if you've got an Ampere gpu you really should look for S tier (and there are gold rated psus that are) because an S tier (yellow lettering on the list) is guaranteed to handle any Ampere microspikes in power without issue (or prevent them from occuring). Also seasonic modular cables have a reputation for being unbearably stiff. Great if you need a lot of power on a budget though.

This was the first time I bought a PSU outside of corsair because it was on a stellar deal that I couldn't pass up but I will be going back to corsair. Just a heads up, if you are upgrading PSU's make sure it is the same brand or that you are capable of replacing cables as each brand has proprietary connections on the actual PSU.
