Unit is doa. Should have bought evga like i wanted originally. Plugged 24pin and 8 pin from evga psu to motherboard and wouldnt you know it turned on? Returning this peice and by the way... at this price point I expect ALL, not 2! of the cables to be sleeved the same. Mis-match cables are a big negative.

not good for crypto mining

Went back to what I know works which is the Evga 1000watt platinum

I ended up getting 1000w Seasonic (this product) instead. It is quiet, zero rpm fan mode and performs perfectly. been using it for about 6 months now. I wasn't too familiar with Seasonic as a brand (duh!), now I am its biggest fan for all power supply needs. Also got their 12pin connector for 3080 and 3090 FE. Their promotion was really good when all other manufacturers were charging 50 bucks, Seasonic gave it for free. Thank you!
