I found it to be a little awkward to attach to the bowl but it is more secure than the one on my smaller mixer. It also does a better job preventing flour from flying out of the bowl.

I have a 4.5 mixer. Upgraded the bowl to a 5.0 specifically for this lid. But unfortunately, it did not fit. I was very disappointed.
