It definitely goes fast but we made sure to ride it on the slowest level until he felt comfortable to ride fast. I’ve also used it and I’m 170 ibs 5’3.

She uses it for both short and long commutes and she absolutely loves it. A little on heavy side but I would definitely recommend this as gift very useful!!!

There are 3 speed modes, which is really convenient for my younger one as he adjust to an electric scooter and a faster speed for older one that thinks shes a pro. I didnt realize until they were riding at night but it colors under the scooter as they are riding. Definitely worth the buy for kids aged 6-8.
