NOT recommended. It can't be exposed to elements and it can't be charged indoors anywhere for fear of fire. Maybe great for Cali, but not here.

Convenient for college campus, my break caliper was too tight at first, I had to adjust it

Returned to get the ninebot max. This scooter is good for someone not looking for long range.

Very efficient bike. The top part gets loose at times.

Purchased this one year & ago and the battery is failing so it only charges for a 30 minute ride. Our son won't use it now because it doesn't function for the range he needs. Looking into replacement batteries - difficult to locate but the price is 70% of the price of a new scooter. And that's just the battery part... we'd have to install it. This is the second scooter we got bc the original one would not charge... should've passed.

The scooter worked fine, until I got a flat rear tire and have to change the given back up tire. The backup tier given was broken one which loses pressure quickly. I spent a lots of efforts to change it, as the tire design is not ready for a DIY tire change with standard bike tools but required car tire replacement tools. Right now I got non-working flat tire scooter, that may never be able to be used again, hence the life span of the scooter is about 3-4 months.

Not bad..Few think need to more upgrade.The price is really affordable. I am enjoying it

This is my second Ninebot F30. I picked up my original F30 on May 16th. Got it home and it would not turn on. I took it back to the store the next day and they exchanged it for another F30. There were none available in the store so it was shipped to my house. It showed up today, and has the same exact issue where it wont turn on. Both times I called Segway Support only to be told I need to return it to Best Buy as I have a defective scooter and ask for a replacement. This is number 2 of the F30s in less than a week that have been defective.

Its fun and convenient but only on flat surfaces and also for someone under 250 pounds

When yog pay almost 500 dollars for something and it literally stops working during the 1st year, it goes to say something about the manufacturer. We ourchased this for our sin for his bday. He only uses it when we go to the camp grounds. So literally every couple of months for a weekend. So can't say thats its continously used, because its not. Then it just stops working. I would expect a l Iot more from a company such as segway.

Charge doesnt last that long and doesn't go that fast

I've had this scooter for little under a year now and the front tire has already popped out, rendering it wobbly every time I use it. Its range is not that far where it can go a max of 6-7 miles before dying out on 10-15mph. Its battery charge takes way too long for the range and speed it produces. Overall, you could find a better scooter on Amazon for way cheaper and the Segway name does not guarantee any quality over brands on Amazon. Would not recommend for the absurd price.

I really wanted to love this but I just couldn’t. The battery didn’t last as long as it said it’s supposed to. Every time after I got done riding for like only 3 miles it would say it’s overheating. I definitely say if your looking for a scooter to just go get the Ninebot Max instead which is a little more expensive but totally worth it comparing to this scooter.

I was excited to get this scooter based on its claimed stats and price, but in the real world, the claimed speed and range are nowhere near what you will experience. On flat ground, I only managed to get 10-12 miles of range.

Battery runs down quickly. Thought it would last longer.

Worked for about a month, then stopped working. Now all it does is flash the number 14 in red, and beeps incessantly (INCREDIBLY ANNOYING!!! Who thought that was acceptable?!?). It looks like it's a hall effect throttle sensor issue? Basing off of other Ninebot scooters as there is no error code documentation available for this model. I've tried reconnecting everything and no luck. There's no apparent damage to the unit, and it wasn't exactly abused. It just stopped working, won't tell me why, and just makes an irritating noise. Conveniently out of return period for BB, so I'm just out $600 and a have a 30lb paperweight. Lovely.

Good scooter not an incredible one but smooth ride
