It has turning signals, and very bright headlight, horn as well. It’s a turning head product, highly recommend it!

Overheats way too often

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a G30 Max, and purchased this scooter for the increased power, thinking it should better handle small hills (I weigh around 230 lbs). It does have a weight capacity of 265 lbs - compared to the G30 Max's 220.5. There is noticeably more power before the battery goes below around 75%. Somewhere around this point, max speed is limited to 17 mph, and it struggles on small/short hills even more than my G30 Max. I've taken this out for a 5-10 mile spin three times now. In all three rides, the scooter repeatedly cuts out and shows the error message "HI (or H1)" on the screen. This happened about 5-10 times during each ride, and each time I had to hop off the scooter and wait for it to cool down. Tire pressure was fine. Nowhere in the manual is this error code referenced, but I think it shows when the motor reaches peak temp. It also has really "jumpy" acceleration when in sport mode. Mid-throttle basically doesn't exist. With all things considered, my G30 Max is more reliable even with it's lower power and weight capacity. (for me) Pros: - Great power/performance (only above ~75% battery) - Smooth suspension and handling Cons: - Can't handle heavier riders (when below ~75% battery) - Overheats - Jumpy acceleration in sport mode

Fun and capable daily driver.

The G2 is an excellent daily scooter, offering sufficient acceleration, suspension, and top speed for some fun. It handles well for its weight and is suitable for novices in Eco and Drive modes. However, Sport mode tends to have a twitchy throttle, so I recommend a few test rides before enabling it. The suspension is outstanding. I find it challenging to ride my other scooters that lack suspension—the ride feels too harsh without it. The G2’s suspension is more than adequate for city streets and mild dirt and grass trails. The Segway app is user-friendly, connecting quickly and effortlessly. My one reason for not giving it five stars is the absence of throttle mapping. I believe this scooter would benefit from various throttle ‘modes’ to adjust the torque curve for different situations. Often, while riding, there are some ‘flat’ or slow-accelerating spots, especially under 12 mph or when accelerating from a stop or lower speeds.

First E scooter got the ninebot

So i decided to buy one. It is a great smooth scooter. But due to max speed. I ended up giving it to my daughter. I bought the Varla eagle one 2.0. Which is still coming. I needed somthing faster and it goes 40 mph. My husband has the varla pro and that goes so smooth with the suspension. Dont like the look of the varla as much as the ninebot but it definitely feels more sturdy going at high speed. With 2000W. I thought i would get more range with ninebot going max speed.. but come to find out it only last 25 miles with max speed instead of 43 miles . All in all i think its still a great scooter for those who like average speed commute to school and work. .

Its definitely got speed and miles if thats what your looking for. It can go 3-4 days without a charge being used on sport mode. My main issues are just the build of the scooter. The scooters pretty tall and high off the floor, which is great if your tall, but not if your short. Handle bars reach my collar bones making it at times awkward to roll around. The height of it makes it awkwardly lean heavily onto one side The horn is very loud and clear but surprisingly many people do not hear it compared to a traditional bike bell. The turn signals in theory are a great idea, iveould use them more often but having small hands makes it difficult to reach for them. Not only that, the handle bars are much longer in order to make room for the turn signal lights. This has made it awkward putting the scooter into certain cars as the handle bars become stuck inside the trunk. I also wish the placement for the folding hook was in the middle rather than next to the acceleration button. Multiple times its become unclipped when removing from car trunks. Overall it runs smooth, acceleartion is fast, and the breaks do a decent job at stopping at full speed.

(I'm 6'4, 220) It was just a tid bit slow, it struggled getting up hills. It didnt get very many miles before it was dead. (6 miles). So I was ready for an upgrade. I did research and people spoke highly of the Segway Max. I came acrosss a comment that said they wish they had waited and pre-ordered the Max G2. So I did just that! I waited until the last minute. $799. It came about a month laster. This scooter has it all. Plenty of power, just enough speed, plenty of range and I dont feel like I'm riding a kid's toy. The app is easy to set up. Has Apple Find my built in along with a security alarm. I absolutely love it!!!

Segway… is the only way

My first scooter a few years ago was a small basic electric scooter, no name brand.. bought on whim and it went up to 15mph - I thought tit was great. Till I discovered the world of Segway. I purchased 2 Segway scooters, the MAX G2 & Ninebot F3. Both are amazing. the G2 has Such a smooth ride, handles very well, and the ability to change setting thru the Segway / Ninebot App is a game changer. I’m officially a Segwayer, Fanatic… whatever you want to call it. I’m a customer for life.

Well worth the purchase!

Very fast and ready to go right out of the box. It helps me cut down on the gas I am using during my daily commute to work (2.5 miles from my house). It accelerates very quickly. The only annoying bit is you have to push off from the ground fairly hard to get the motor to engage, you can't simply press the accelerator. (but that also might be a safety feature so the machine does not speed off if you unintentionally hit the accelerator while waiting for your turn to go at a stop light or such thing)

The perfect first scooter

This scooter is awesome. The features i like the most are the suspension, lights, alarm and that you can us Find My app on your iphone to see where the scooter is. I weight 220lb and this scooter move pretty good. I dont know how good would be the range i would able to get but im pretty sure it will be at least 20 miles and im happy with at least that. I will recommend this scooter to anyone.

So smooth and good to go

Sold it within months. Now 3 years later this is way improved. Super comfy suspension with very good power. I don't have any complaints. Just a fyi. Don't update to firmware 1.7.6. caused me to lose torque and off the line power. I have 1.7.0 now and it's great feeling. If updating firmware go to Reddit get some advice lots of advice and don't update blindly if you are already happy with the performance.

And my neighborhood in Central NJ has more varied inclines, dealing with suburban street traffic, potholes, and to commute to work occasionally where I'm anxious about battery life. The Ninebot Max G2 feels less like an toy and more like a vehicle's imo. It's more sturdy, better handling, can handle different road conditions and it's smooth. I feel more seen on the road with an working breaklight, turn signals and a brighter light. I'm 5'8“ and I don't feel fatigued or feel my feet is crowded when ridding the scooter or feeling every bump on the road or sidewalk The only drawback is the weight. Most of the weight imo is in the back where the motor is located. So if you live on a walkup or take transit where u need to lift the scooter up and your not use to lifting 55+ lbs you're going to struggle. Kinda wish the turn signal button wasn't too close to the horn button, I keep hitting it accidentally. If the horn button was located on the right side handle it would have been a better placement. Aside from those two things I recommend the scooter if your want a scooter for a last mile commute to work and home and if you want a scooter for leisure riding.
