Good so far, might be worth waiting a few month

The front wheel is out of alignment sriracha out of the box by about 5 degrees, not enough to make a big deal but enough to see. Also, the software is a little buggy at the moment. Hopefully this hold up to the build quality it’s previous version.

Not ready to be released

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will say they are decent scooters when they work emphasis on when they work. Was excited to pick these up when they came in stock was able to go for a few rides now they no longer charge. I charge them they started charging after about 10 to 15 minutes I hear a beep and they no longer charge any longer, if I want to get them continue to continue charging. I have to unplug wait for them to stop beeping and reset and start over again and then guess what 15 minutes later I’m back in the same exact situation. Unfortunately I will be boxing these up and sending them back for a full refund and wait until they get these situations fixed before I decide to purchased again.

Fun scooter. Only goes 20 MPH

Daily transport

I'm a little disappointed in the acceleration speed but if you put a little momentum behind your take off you won't notice too much.

Scoot on my friends!

The regen braking absorbs any coast you would have when you take off the throttle. Shocks are game changer for Maxx

Sad story

This model scooter. The suspension is great. The torque is on point it’s just got one major flaw and that is problematic software. I’m not the only one who experienced errors in operation such as when you hit the brakes it decides to fully accelerate putting you in a very dangerous situation. I had to throw my scooter Multiple times I’m one trip and ultimately took it back to Best Buy. Hopefully Segway gets this right but until I wish sure I would stay far away.

Incredible purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a trucker I'm rather limited when it comes to parking this scooter has opened up so many more possibilities for sightseeing, dining, bar hopping, groceries you name it. I can actually say that it's added to my quality of life I've had other scooters were only good for 6 or 7 miles had to worry about charging they were kind of useless. Pros with G2 are super battery life, no more teeth chattering the syspension is perfect, grear speed, bright signals, wide handle bars perfect for accesories, great pickup and speed, 4 modes, seld sealing large tires just an incredible ride. Only con I can think of is it is on the heavy side for carrying but its definitely a trade off I'm happy to make for super range and great speed. There are faster lighter whatever scooters but this one seems to have the perfect balance.

The error code was of little help. After looking over the scooter I realized the break lever was active for no reason. After inspecting and taking apart the lever I figured out what was wrong and after reassembly the scooter works fine now. After spending a lot of money, I should have to fix it so soon. The main reason I went with Segway was in hopes the battery won’t catch fire.

!!! SAFETY WARNING !!!

I've had this thing for 3 months and have been involved in 3 accidents, none of them at a fault of my own. In one case, the front wheel separated from the stem, leading me to faceplant on a downward slope. The second time, a bolt connecting the suspension to the wheels separated, sending me sideways nearly into traffic. The third time, the throttle wouldn't disengage. Use the brakes, right? No, they're regen brakes with a weak front drum brake. Had I not bailed from the scooter there is a very real chance I would not be writing this right now. And for the grand finale, the unit no longer charges. Customer service is incredibly less than helpful. If you order it on Segways website, they'll send you a replacement, but not if you go through best buy. So I'm stuck with a paperweight with no way to get between work and classes, not having another reliable mode of transportation. Please, please find another scooter, don't risk your life on this one.
