I will clarify the range question. I recently bought a Max G3 and two Max G2's. I, my wife and my son (ways the same as me) took the scooters to Jekyll Island, GA for a ride. All scooters had 100% Charge. We got very good range out of all the scooters. We rode nearly a few hours, 3/4 the way around the island. When we stopped for the day, the G2's both had 60% left and the G3 had 67% left. We had all scooters in "D" mode (16mph max). We stopped many times, ventured off the path a few times. All in all, excellent range on all, but the G3 having a more powerful motor actually had best range. Now, if you ride each scooter at max speeds, naturally the more powerful and faster scooter will use more battery power. But at similar speeds, the more powerful motor didn't work as hard. Now, just want to say this. I purchased the G2 max first and for days I was admiring it beauty, premium feel, and workmanship. Then I ordered the G3 and when it came in, well, it made the G2 look like its 1980s. Now don't get me wrong. The G2 is an excellent scooter. But the feel and looks of the G3 just feels like Going from BMW to a Porche. It's worth the money.

Awesome scooter

It is awesome nice smooth acceleration and smooth stopping very stable and comfortable to ride. Should’ve got one of these a long time ago. Best scooter I have ever had. Segway always stands by their product well made and very comfortable.

My son loves it

It goes a little too fast in my opinion and I probably could have gotten a similar experience for a cheaper model, but this one has all the bells and whistles.

Perfect for hilly commutes

Great at climbing steep hills. Decent battery life and love that it has an onboard charger, so if you want to charge both at home and at work all you need to get is an extra $10 cable.

Segway scooter is a must!

They are fun to cruise around on and best yet I live close to town and with all the construction and gas being almost 5$ a gallon. I don’t gotta sit and wait in the traffic and I run off a simple charge. They go a pretty far distance and fast enough to where your not poking around annoying people cause your in the way. I have no complaints. They also ride good and I feel like there a fair price.

A wonderful upgrade from the original Max G30

The extra lighting helps when riding at night, which in our neighborhood is actually helpful from a safety standpoint. The suspension helps but it's still no Cadillac by any stretch. Overall, a welcome upgrade after 5+ years on the original model.
