Better options.

It feels a bit unstable to drive. The scooter gets lower milage then it says, the recommended is for roughly a 150 lb person on flat terrain in eco mode. The frame might support 265lbs, but the motor does not support near that weight for any length of time. I'm returning this for the niu kqi3 max

Don't buy segway

Segway's will only send a replacement after you mail them the broken part. Returning for a different brand.

Fantastic for work - home commute

Lights work decently in urban spaces. Battery last perfectly well for my 50min round trip ( take 40% of the battery). Segway Customer service was responsive with the folding issue but not useful so I end up figuring out by myself

They lied about the range

Not the best experience.

Best Buy didn’t exchange it. So I shipped it back to California. Not the best experience. But I still like the scooter. I’ll wait for it to go back fixt.

More scooter than you think for the money!

For the price you're getting a really good scooter which is probably worth 300 more dollars than the price I got it at for $549. It does what it says and is a very enjoyable ride! The fact that it came with a seat as a plus because while I had stability standing and writing, sitting gives just a little more stability to the item. Thank you Best buy for hitting it out of the park with this one!

Ninebot D40X review

We got a good one and the kids love it. Holds a charge, and has a nice kick going close to 20 MpH. High quality and helping the environment. Hope you like yours as much as we like ours.

Warranty will weasel out of repair for rain

I can confirm this is not the case, and my scooter managed to get water inside during a rainy day and it caused the circuit board to short out. Tried to get it repaired under warranty but they pretty much told me to kick rocks as they "don't cover water damage". Don't buy this if you are expecting the company to take responsibility for faults.

Good at first

But if you contact segway directly they will give you the run around. Like ive contactsed them 3 times and they didnt do anything for me. They werent good help at all. Plus for the max capacity the tire that are on it dont even hold that up .
