Scooter not worth it

Segway Ninebot

I bought it for Christmas for my niece and now have returned 3 straight of this type of scooter. Not sure if it’s just a bad product or has been in a warehouse for too long. Either way very disappointed. I have returned this scooter for the last time and will be looking elsewhere.

Dead out of the box

Bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and she was so excited to see her #1 wish list item sitting under the tree. One problem, it was dead out of the box, what a letdown! I have seen many reviews of this happening, and it is totally unacceptable.

Bad experience

Stay away!

Fun scooter with insufficient mileage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are a 180lb. Rider like me, expect max speed of 10.5 MPH and 7.5 miles on a full charge. If you are looking for the stats touted by manufacturer, you will be disappointed. Nevertheless, this is a well-made scooter and a blast to ride. For faster speed and mileage, spring for the external battery.

E-SCOOTER BUST

Don’t buy!!

Day two: while riding, the scooter malfunctioned and went from 12 mph to 0 in a flash, resulting in it throwing my son and injuring him severely. I checked the error that was displaying and it’s apparently quite common and occurs without notice. It happens when a magnet is misaligned. The most common suggestion found online to repair it is to lift the scooter a few inches off the ground and slam it down hard to move the magnet back in to place. No thank you. Disappointing and painful experience.

The item doesn’t even turn on out of the box. This is a waste of time and money. Segway customer service doesn’t do a thing to resolve the issue.
