The Segway - Ninebot S Self Balancing Scooter excelled my expectations. I had tried other scooters and I end up been disappointed but with the Ninebot S the frustration and disappointment is part of the past. This toy is terrific, it is well manufactured, the guide to put it together is simple and the performance is phenomenally a joy! The feature that allows (in this case a parent) to switch the speed of the scooter from safe mode (Beginners) to Sports (Advanced) , enables me to be under control at all time and with that adding extra safety power for my younger kids! Thank You, I am truly a raving fan!!!

Powerful, good quality. I purchased this solely to get with the go kart add on which allows speed to increase to 15mph. My son loves it! Battery pack lasts a long time for extended play.

Best purchase ever!! I love my Segway Ninebot!! Took me only a few minutes to get used to it. Now it’s like riding a bike, once I relaxed, it became so easy to ride! I do wear a helmet and pads for extra confidence (as I’m over 50). I have 4 paper routes and use it for all of them every week! Super easy to balance, turn and ride!! Can do 360 turns with ease! Super fun and relaxing!

Segway nine-bots are amazing. I bought this for my friends and it did not disappoint. Riding around at 10mph is slow but it’s still fun. The tutorial you have to do at the beginning is terrible but the product itself is really awesome. Minimal maintenance is required but you will probably have to change tires at least once a year depending on how much you ride. YouTube videos will be your savior

works great and preforms just as well as the previous model I purchased and I would have given it 5 stars except the knee bar is not adjustable anymore like the last model so for someone 5' 11" or taller the knee bar is a little too low and at a slightly awkward and uncomfortable position.

Very stable and easy to use. Pair it with the go-kart and it's tons of fun. The instant torque is amazing!

Everyone needs one of these!!!! Sooooo much fun! Def recommend getting the black one instead of white one bc the scuffs dont show as easily. And trust me you will get some dings and scratches!

Very cool so much better and easier to use then a hoverboard goes very fast easy to control and get the hang of. The whole family loves it

The height of the knee bar was functional for my 6 year old. I know the kids version is available, however I don't like were the expense cuts were made. Battery life, speed, deck are much better on the S are much better for a little more expense while on sale. I won't say the kids is not good but for the extra money, the "S" on sale is worth it. Adults and my daughter used it on her birthday but the max with the handle bar was the favorite. I hope this helps you with your decision.

I bought this for my kids device and it works wonderfully

I had the previous 2016 MiniPro model which was nothing but fun. During that time, the tires eventually wore down and went pretty bald. So I ordered two more tires to replace and install myself before I experience an unfortunate accident. Needless to say, it was all easier said than done. Replacing/installing new tires on your own was a real pain and simply could not do it or find someone who was willing to do it. So reluctantly, I ended up purchasing this newer model and am back in the game. I gave it 4 stars for one fatal design flaw and that flaw would be the steering knee bar which is not adjustable as it's predecessor was. That is most unfortunate. I'm not at all very tall standing at 5'8, but it still can be rather uncomfortable as the knee padding is lacking in cushion. So basically I had to get creative and add some cushion or ride in pain. I realize this device is designed more toward the younger crowd. But it can support 220lbs. as the specs state and therefore can be considered a fun toy for adults as well. Why would you do away with the an adjustable bar Segway/Ninebot?

Bought two for Christmas one for my 14 year old (boy)and 12 year old (girl) both love it. It was a little slow to learn because you have to use your knees to control but once you get the hang of it it goes really fast so definitely recommend helmet if using. Only had it a week so I gave it four stars definitely for cost of value. Recommend for sure.

The Segway name has been diluted by Ninebot. The device itself is decent but the software is really bad. First it requires an account to activate the device (make it function). I have privacy concerns about that step. Nobody needs to collect data on my children. The app is not intuitive or well programed. Things such as verifying the email address was clunky and required repeatedly mashing the verify button. Had to Google that solution. For some reason Ninebot decided to add a social media aspect to this app and its not even a tie-in to existing social media channels, its their own. Why? The app has a Task Center and they give me tasks "Watch Videos +3points" "Publish Quality Posts +1N" "Share Daily Report +1N" Here is a task for Ninebot "Hire a UI designer and tester". The physical changes that should be made are around the charging port. They seem to have used an off the shelf plug and placed it in a hard to access area. The plug has 4 pins and a notch that need to be aligned. It is located at the bottom and features a spring loaded flip up cover and a rubber port plug. Its not easy to access, see or align. Its in a dark recess and everything is black. Occasionally when you pick it up to carry the wheels go full speed and it starts beeping.

My 10 year old loves this Segway. The beeping once it reaches the speed limit is a bit annoying but I understand why that happens.

My kids love the Segway ninebot. They were able to quickly learn how to ride it. Even my 6 year old learned quickly. The ride is very smooth. You can also download the app to control it on your phone. Best gift they got for Christmas!
