    Really impressed!!!

I had tried all Beats by Dre and had to return all of them. Something was always wrong with them so I gave up on beats and when onto something new. Looked up the reviews on all headphones sold here and found these which I would use while working out and outdoors. With this price I could of bought 2 of the power beats by Dre. The curved piece that goes around the ear is soft and has a perfect fit. While working out or running these have never fallen out. The small controller has the volume control with controlling play pause and skip, plus it's silicones wrapped so prevents damage from rain and sweat. And the sound is great, bass and voice are at its best quality. Buy them !!!!!

Excellent sound quality for workout earbuds

I recently set out to find a pair of workout earbuds that sounded great but would stay in throught an intense sweaty workout. I have always liked the sound of the stock Apple earbuds, but they would never make it even partway through a workout. I tried several models of sport buds, but none sounded good enough - midrange too forward, weak lows. Most were tiring to listen to. For reference over the past month I tried Yurbuds Focus (Tinny), Yurbud Focus Limited (fussy fit), basic Sony and Bose SIE2 (decent, not as secure). These Sennheiser are the best sounding, comfortable, secure. No negatives.

I'm not an exercise buff...I just wanted earbuds that would fit comfortably when travelling, especially on long overseas flights. I don't like on-ear or around the ear for extended wear, even though they often sound better than buds. Buds are so much more compact for travel, but I did not want to spend big bucks for Shure or Etymotic, etc. I hoped that for ~$80, the sound quality would be better that the buds that came with my old iPhone 4, or the $10-15 buds that one finds everywhere. There is perhaps a bit more sonic detail, but that may be due to the improved fit over the bargain buds. They definitely fall short on bass though. I have some cheap old Koss buds that are better in this regard. I guess I expected better from Sennheiser--a well respected brand in pro audio.

Playing it safe with sound quality

had these guys for about a month now. I replaced my old adidas headphones that lasted about 3 yrs. they are comfortable and they dont feel too odd. I always have to play with the size adapters on my left ear to get a better fit. The sound is clear and balanced. However they do not have a lot of bass. I feel they played it safe by reducing the bass in order to give a cleaner sound. I listen to rap, rock, 90's hip-hop when I'm in the gym or jogging; and I have noticed some songs sound kinda bland. For example "Can't Hold us" my Macklemore starts great but then the bass beat is "soft" in my opinion. I makes it sound like a 90's rock song like "Don't speak" by No Doubt (were you have that subtle bass drum). "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen sounds good but its not a bassy type of song. "Ruff Ryders' Anthem" by DMX sound ok but still has that "soft" Bass. "Careless Whisper" by George Michael sound extravagantly phenomenal as well as "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk and "Lady in Red" by Chris de Burgh.

Good fit in ear, but sound it too pitchy - even when compared with original iphone headphones. even after adjusting EQ level on iPhone 5, sound comes out with too much Treble, no Bass at all. Cord is too thin and too short.

I was not overly impressed. I purchased three sets of headphones at the same time including the JVC which were $20 vs. $60 and found the sound just as good as if not better than this product. The other set were the gummy and would not stay in my ear. So the sound is good but similar products on the market and less expensive.

Good Fit, Good Highs & Midrange, No Bass

Wanted earbuds that would stay in my ears while walking. These do. Good construction. Better than average reduction of outside noise but at medium volume you can still hear cars approaching. Fine highs & midrange but little or no bass at all which was disappointing from Sennheiser. While at a good sale price, i would not have bought them had i known about the poor bass.

These headphones would be better at $10-20. Good quality highs (7/10), no bass (2/10). I have Samsung headphones that came free with a phone and they are better than these. These are not worth the money.

Not durable at all! Have gone thru 2 sets. Mostly used while sitting, occasionally while walking (not running). In both cases, the left channel went dead.
