Sound bar keeps going on and off without provocation. I call to have it taken care of and I have to wait 2 1/2 weeks for someone to come out

We purchased a Sony TV and this sound bar which was recommended by the salesman and it didn't work at all. They will replace it and in the meantime,

I paired this with my widescreen PC monitor and PC so that I could clean up my desk and improve the sound quality when streaming. It worked great and really is noticeably better than the stereo speaker set up that it replaced. The app interface was simple to follow and to use as well. Feature selection and adjustment was a snap. The profile is compact, as the name suggests, and very clean looking. The sound is, as one would expect from Sennheiser, pristine and crisp. I tried out the multiple connection options and connectivity was great and sound quality did not appear to suffer by input choice. Apple AirPlay, Wifi, Bluetooth and Chromecast all worked well and setup was easy for the devices. I tried the unit from the box and found that the self-calibration feature really made a difference as I played the same album (CD actually) two or three times and found the sound seemed to improve, but honestly was pretty awesome sounding from the first. I also like the fact that the unit is light, transportable, and flexible as far as connections go. If you are looking for a soundbar with a solid combination of sound quality, connectable and size, this is probably it.

I owned a sonos arc before this and returned it, because of connectivity issues and poor tech support. Meanwhile this thing has been everything I've ever wanted, the Dolby Atmos on this thing is next level I'm hearing sounds out of this thing that i only hear in my music studio when I'm mastering a song! The unit itself bumps too, maybe be small but packs as much punch as the plus in my opinion. Clarity is next level too, almost like i took a Q tip and cleaned out my ears for the first time. I bought this for the bedroom, its great size for my 20x16 bedroom and will get another for the work out room. FYI - grab some 2.1 HDMI cables and make sure your fire stick or tv is Dobly Atmos compatible or else you won't be able to achieve the capabilities for how far you can push these units. The app is very capable as well, there's a lot you can do inside the app, well thought out by the engineers at sennheiser, having had the sonos app i found it to be boring and pretty plain Jane. The Sennheiser soundbar mini is absolutely flawless in my opinion. Go buy one! You won't regret it!!!

Most of the new TV screens do not come with quite an average sound system, however, they also come with an ARC portal that can expand the sound features of your TV with the right equipment. I think that the Sennheiser - AMBEO Soundbar Mini is that equipment. Installing the bar is as easy as two wires: power to the wall and HDMI wire to the ARC input/output of your TV. On your phone, the smart app needs to be downloaded. With a first Bluetooth connection the right bar setup will start with a very intuitive step-by-step process, that includes the initial room calibration. The process will include a connection with your house wifi and the regular Firmware update (please note that downloading and installation could take close to 15 min). After that first installation, the options and sound possibilities are endless, and all very easily managed by the app. The AMBEO bar transforms every single TV program sound into a different dimension. The improvement is so big that even from the regular channels to the old movies you can see the difference but of course, if you bring the Dolby Sounds, the bar performs at its best converting the room into a small movie theater. Note that voices are clear and the vocal sounds are vibrant. The environment's sound is powerful and very crisp, the bar makes a clear difference between sound power and transparent delivery. For me this means, that more explosions in the movie are not just louder sounds but a clear sound that makes you part of the history you are watching. Powerfully delivered with quality and control. The app itself is to explore. With no previous technical knowledge, you can set different sound profiles depending on the input but you can also make manual adjustments from the six provided settings: adaptive, music, movie, news, neutral, or sports. Two more reinforcement settings are provided for voice enhancement and the night mode. If you are more adventurous other settings are available to adjust (like the level of volume centered in multi-chanel content). A final component that I love, very related to the many sources of available devices that I have around the house is the compatibility with several audit formats common in the sector: the well-known Dolby, the extensively used DTS, and the MPEG-H. A few additional elements: .- The bar comes with a remote control that I don’t use very often, while the sound control through eh ARC input is basically managed directly with the TV remote. .- No subwoofer is included in the package but if you have one, the connection with your bar is also possible .- Voice assistant built in: Aleza and Siri. .- USB input is also available for potential use with your laptop. .- Manufacturer guarantee of two years, double of standards for similar products. I love the AMBEO and the power that brings to my room. How easily connects with the TV and delivers all types of sounds with independence of the type of program. I love that the app makes the learning curve and the experimentation of the settings absolutely intuitive.

TVs have come a long way with incredible large, bright, high-resolution screens offering streaming apps and casting capabilities. Very impressive. Except for one thing: As much as modern TVs have improved in so many ways, they simply cannot offer a quality of sound to match their image. This is not hard to understand since we want thin screens and big, w-i-d-e sound - and they just don’g go together. Enter the exploding market for soundbars and surround-sound systems. Like TVs, sound systems created to compliment modern TVs have also come a long ways. A full system with a powerful subwoofer will give you a sound that rivals the cinemas. But it will typically cost $1,500+. The value of that purchase will likely depend on just how big your screen setup and room is. For those who have a smaller setup, or who want multiple TV locations with solid sound, there’s a vastly-improved alternative offering truly exceptional sound: the mini-soundbar. These are usually single, self-contained soundbars that are capable of offering solid bass without relying on a separate subwoofer. The Sennheiser - AMBEO Soundbar Mini Compact Device with Adaptive Features and Multiple Connectivity is an excellent example. The AMBEO mini offers strong, solid, high-quality sound with a bass tone that rounds out the tonal landscape very well. The bass won’t rattle the windows, but neither will it leave you feeling like you’re missing the low end. Basically, for half the price of a normal system, you get a fullness of sound that rivals the larger offerings. The only caveat is that it will lose its impact if used in a large room. I found the AMBEO mini easy to set up. Just plug it in, connect it, and you’re immediately enjoying rich sound. But that’s just the beginning. You’ll want to get the app so you can customize the sound, or simply choose from a large selection of EQ settings. I found it definitely enhanced dialog when watching movies and television shows, and the music settings made a variety of musical styles really pop. It easily connects to sound sources via bluetooth and offers a variety of digital assistants (Alexa, Siri, etc). One thing to consider, the ‘multiple connectivity’ in the name is not referring to standard connections. The AMBEO mini only offers 1 USB and 1 HDMI port. Although bluetooth is making this issue less important, it is worth noting for your own intended application. All-in-all, the Sennheiser - AMBEO Soundbar Mini Compact Device with Adaptive Features and Multiple Connectivity is a great value and impressive product.

The Sennheiser - AMBEO Soundbar Mini Compact Device with Adaptive Features is a great little soundbar. Set up was very easy and coupled with the Sennheiser Smart Control app you can customize the soundbar to your audio taste. I started off just listening to music without calibrating the soundbar, although the sound quality was better than any stock TV speakers you don't really appreciate the capability of the soundbar only until you calibrate the system to your room. Calibration in a small room was pretty quick, the app says about 3 minutes, a larger room took the full 3 minutes. I intentionally set up in both a small room and a room that was likely too large but it still performed well in both. I was surprised by the difference in audio quality. Granted this is no match for a system with a sub, which I would highly recommend you add if you want a complete system. After set up I used the app to switch to music mode. Night mode reduces the bass output and like it's name is for listening at night. Voice enhancement makes vocals and dialogue more clear in movies/tv shows. Within Music and Adaptive settings you can tailor the output in both AMBEO 3D sound by Light, Regular or Boost. Boost gives you a more rich sound. Beyond that you have the ability to control a 4 band eq. The connectivity is somewhat limited but if your main use is for a TV and listening to blue tooth music I don't see how that is a problem. The only draw back I can see if you are a finicky audiophile is the need for a sub woofer, otherwise it will out perform any stock TV speakers. I would recommend this soundbar.
