I’ve purchased these headphones as a Christmas gift to give to my mother. The sound quality wasn’t good. Each time I used them I would hear a distant echo with no bass. I could not hear much even with the volume increased.

I bought this based on online reviews. For the money they are nothing special. Solid, with mediocre sound quality. You sorta get what you pay for, but might be able to do better - they are working off the name.

I personally have been looking for a good pair of over-the-ear headphones and stumbled upon these. Knowing the name, I knew this company was reputable. Now owning them for a few days, I am willing to share the following: Pros: -Great Sound - It definitely has a really nice pair of speakers in them. I am a nerd when it comes to audio, and when I put them on for the first time I was surprised. -Loudness - If you are like me (which most people are), I really like to jam to music. I am very pleased to to say that they sound amazing even at max levels. -Battery Life - 25 Hours!?! I know that has been around for a while now, but for $150, you cannot argue too much. Now for the one and only bad thing.... The bar that goes across the top of the headphones is really bad. It holds its ground when it comes to stregnth, but when it comes to comfortability, It is terrible. Its almost like they spent all of the budget on the speakers themselves and were just like "this will do" when it came to the bar. After 2 hours or so of wearing them, they really start to dig into your head. This could be a personal problem because I have a big head, but just warning you it could happen to you.

There’s no support for this product. It worked initially but now it won’t sync at all to a new Bluetooth network. There’s no follow up or customer support.

These stopped working after 2 months. They worked well until the return policy expired. I am very sad that they just stopped working.

I bought these headphones on sale to give away as a Christmas gift. When you plug them in, you can barely hear the sound coming out of them. It sounds like a distant echo. Poor sound quality.

Sounds good, but difficult to charge. That one drawback makes it unwise to purchase.

    I tried to like them...

I picked these up to see if I could grab a bluetooth headphone without killing my wallet. I've had Shure SRH440s, used ATH-M50s, and am currently using Sennheiser HD 598Cs, so I've had a taste of decent headphones. I really tried to like these headphones, but compared to my HD598Cs, they just can't compete. This isn't to say that they're bad headphones, but I found myself going back to my HD598Cs headphones constantly. The two advantages the HD 4.40BT had was in the (1) mainstream bass department and (2) wireless function. When I wanted more mainstream bass, they delivered. Considering the HD598Cs isn't wireless, this is obvious that the HD 4.40BT will be better. I did enjoy being able to walk around the house without a cable, it's such a luxury that I will continue to obtain. The sound isn't bad, but it isn't great. I wasn't blown away, but I wasn't expecting to be because I knew I was paying for wireless functionality over sound. Comfort is okay, but the clamp force is a little too tight, and the earcups weren't large enough for me because I got used the spacious earcups from the HD5XX series. Speaking of the earcups, they are made of a cheaper and less dense memory-foam design. If you've ever used Brainwavz memory foam ear cups, they're similar to that, but not as good in my opinion as the Brainwavz. I'd recommend these for people with smaller ears, smaller heads, and for someone who wants decent sounding wireless headphones that don't cost so much. Unfortunately, I shall be returning the HD 4.40BT. It's unfortunate because it was so close to being the right wireless headphone for me.

    Hissing

This is my first bluetooth headphone. It was a tough choice which one to get for I didn't want to spend a fortune. After 4 days of usage I think I am going to return them and possibly get a different one. I usually listen to soft, quiet, meditation or drone type music. In such cases I find the hissing noise coming from the speakers quite annoying. If the music get louder then you obviously cannot hear the hissing sound but as soon as the music gets softer and quieter you can hear it. This is the worst part. I find it to be comfortable. I guess the controls are ok (since this is my first one I cannot compare it to others).

    Good Sound - But Bulky

I have had these headphones for about a week. The sound is neutral, especially for classical music. When you press the power on button the voice is cut off and not easy to understand, thus the 4 star rating. The volume control on the headset is very easy to operate and is in a good place.

    not up to Sennheiser Quality.

These are okay fitting headphone and they sound average but I can't believe Sennheiser put their name on these. There are 2 major downfalls to these in my eyes. 1. the beep at every song change, volume adjustment and whenever else they fell like. 2. the audio cable is a 2.5mm to 3.5mm not a standard 3.5 to 3.5. The sound on these is very average, They are just slightly better than apple earpods (the wired ones, not air pods). I bought these to have a decent set of headphones to use with my laptop but the constant beeping every time I switch songs, videos, turn up the volume, play or pause is infuriating.
