Bought these to game with. Had Astro a40s and steel series move pro wireless.. these are exceptional for gaming and we won’t be going back. The weight disappears on your head and there is 0 fatigue even after a long 12 hour day wearing them. The sound stage is amazing, directional is better than any gaming set I’ve ever used.

The best Sennheiser headphones ! I sold my 660S and HD58x after I got these. I read DMS's review on YouTube and decided to give them a shot and I am glad I did. Everything he said is what I hear. These are perfect in everyway I can think of. Bass is perfect with very good sub bass extension, mids are great like all other Sennheiser's and the top end is sweet. The mids bass bloat that most Sennheiser's have is gone on these. These scale with better quality music so if your music is low quality, these will let you know. I highly recommend these.

Not going to give a super techy review here. Suffice to say these are new Sennheiser headphones and are in HIGH demand for good reason. The sound is on par with the 600 series cans. I know that sets the bar high, but for $200 these headphones do NOT disappoint. I'm kind of a Sennheiser junky. I have the HD558, HD598, HD599, HD58X, HD600, HD6XX, HD660S and now HD560S. This headset is just as good or on par with the HD600 which is a world class headphone... no joke. Sennheiser engineering is top notch and anything made by this company is of supreme quality! Buy with confidence.

They are comfortable and work well for listening to music. I use this with the HD 500 microphone cable to use the headphones as a wired headset for Discord and in game voice chat.

For years I have had nothing but gaming headsets and was convinced that was the way to go. After multiple headsets, and research I found these. On Amazon there were mixed reviews but reading here on Best Buy they were all positive with some negatives. When I tested these bad boys out it was a total game changer (pun intended). I mostly use them for my ps5 and I can 100% say they are worth it. The audio is crisp in my opinion. I can hear footsteps in Apex Legends a lot more clearer. Theres no volume adjuster on these but its not a huge issue. I would say to recommend these over any game headset on the market. The earcups are super comfortable, I can have them all day and not experience discomfort, especially with glasses on. Definitely cheaper too!

Best Headset - If you can handle wires

I loved this headset. The sound was amazing, and it was comfortable to wear. I am just spoiled and used to not having a wire anymore. So when I had these, I would constantly pull the wire on accident, fearing that I could break them. I ended up returning them for something wireless.

This is my endgame headphone. Its perfect for gaming and I can hear so much detail and its really easy to power as well. the high clamp force takes time to loosen up.

I have been using these for a little over a year, mainly gaming and listening to music on Spotify. The sound quality is perfect and they are very enjoyable to listen to. They are very comfortable also and I only feel like taking them off after 4+ hours. The only issue I have experienced is the headphones losing connection to my pc when the wire bends (not harshly, just gravity) a certian way. I tried swapping them out but the problem continues, so I no longer use them for gaming becasue of that inconsistency.

I bought these to use with a surround sound DAC. I do both gaming and videos. I decided to ditch the combined mic and headsets and use these with a desk mic. The directional sound result and the sound quality with the HD560S was splendid.

These are absolutely insane for the money. Gorgeous open soundstage and range, and one of the flattest headphones I've ever heard. The cable is comically long, so I purchased a third party cable elsewhere to replace it, but overall couldn't be happier. Used with a Rode AI-1 on my desktop for gaming and music, also tried it hooked up through my PS5 and sounds incredible for console gaming as well. If you are looking for a quality wired headset, this is an absurd value.

I was very impressed with these headphones. They are a no brainer for the price. Super accurate and wide soundscape. The bass was very impressive for open back headphones. Super easy to drive.

Awesome for Music & FPS Gaming! Needs break-in tho

Couple of months in, and it's still very solid! The Soundstage is outstanding. Both for music and FPS Gaming! There's quite a clamp on the first week or two, basically a break in period. But you should be able break it in quicker by letting it rest on a headset block. Other than the noticeable clamp and the need for the break-in period, it's very comfortable and super light! Definitely recommends!

Soundstage and seperation is great for gaming when plugged into my SMSL c200 DAC/AMP. The headphones are very analytical and I found the audio to be a bit dry/flat while gaming in comparison to my other headphones and IEM's, which isn't bad or unpleasant, just different. Because these headphones are so analytical/true to sound, they don't have a ton of bass. The bass is definitely there, and it sounds nice and crispy clear, but if you prefer warm bass that will rattle you, these are not it- that's not what they're for. I have a pair of Simgot EM6L's that seem much punchier and clearer in-game (WZ2) when compared back to back with these headphones, but the HD 560S seemed to have better diaganol imaging, allowing me to pinpoint the position of sounds a bit easier than with the EM6L's. Comfort is okay. I have a slightly larger than average sized head and they are still a bit snug after 2 weeks of moderate use. It's not uncomfortable while wearing them, but I definitely notice how tight they were when I take them off. It's kinda like when you take your shoes off after a long day. My only minor gripe with these headphones is that they seem to be pretty sensitive to how you position them over your ears. The audio changes a bit if they shift forward/backwards. I'm not sure if this is common across all open-back headphones as this is my first pair, but it is noticeable for me. Not necessarily annoying though, and definitely not a dealbreaker considering I got these on sale for about $50 off the normal price. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would reccomend these to anyone as an entry into "audiophile" heaphones.

Sennheiser is my go-to brand for over the ear headphones. I have purchased several over the years and all have been excellent for comfort and sound quality. This is wired, which I prefer for sound quality.

Perfect entry for those trying to get into the audiophile realm. I’m no audiophile myself but the difference these have against a gaming headset is major. Decent soundstage, all tones shine and don’t get muddied out, very comfortable aside from ears touching the drivers (my ears stick out lol). If your ears are closer to your head you’ll be fine. Ad an amp and a good dac (I have the Schiit stack) and these headphones really shine.
