For being audiophile headphones they're pretty mediocre. You have to crank up the bass to get them to sound good. Build quality is very good though, they are very sturdy

They're ok. I got them to replace my Bang & Olufsen H6 headphones, and in comparison, the sound is dull, not very inspiring. They're comfortable, seem well built but are all plastic. Probably decent headphones at this price point, but the sound is not very engaging, does not make for a very enjoyable listening experience.

I have HD 280Pro, 558, HD25, HD443 so yeah I have good reference point when it comes to Sennheiser. The 560s come out to be the best in terms of clarity the presence in all low,mid & highs in sound frequency. I love my 558 but this 560S is a clear winner and I came with a lot of doubts but I was impressed like in 2 min I can tell difference. You don’t need to spend a lot just spend smart for your money.

I am a long time musician with a small home recording studio. I bought these headphones after a great deal of research, including reviewing the frequency response diagrams and other measurements on rtings and other review websites, as well as watching lots of video reviews. The specs are as good or better than many audiophile headphones costing two to four times more. The frequency response is very flat and even across the spectrum, with no hype, and the sound is transparent and spacious. That makes these perfect for mixing in the studio as well as for detailed listening, especially if you like an even response. Hear every instrument, every detail, even at low volumes to protect those ears. Very comfortable as well. The bass is quite accurate, but those wanting lots of bass over even response should look at closed-back headphones or headphones that hype the bass. And for those looking for even response with the isolation of a closed-back headphone, such as for laying down tracks in the studio, check out the AKG K371 model, another great value.

Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Sound quality is excellent. I didn’t find that exterior noises colored the sound quality negatively. Phones fit a little tighter than expected.

If you are looking for headphones that do not alter the sound in any way with noise cancellation, and provide a very clear listening experience, these are quality.

Greatness beyond measure for the price this blows the competition out of the water. Better cans will run you 4 figures. These maintain crystal clear quality throughout its output range even at very high volumes.
I have tested several including the beyerdynamic dt series and they just didnt compare. The sennheisers have a beautiful sound signature; punchy bass that does sound mudded in addition to the fact that it doesn't overpower the other sounds. Soundstage is amazing; so much so that I use these for competitive gaming as well.
*Disclaimer I'm running these with a fiio k5 pro dac amp and an equalizer (Boom audio). For you to get the most of these headphones I recommend you run them with a stack (dac and amp) or all in one solution like I have.

Got these open box for a great deal. Love them. Listen to vinyl through my Yamaha amp and they sound amazing. Highly recommend. They don’t block external sound though so the room needs to be somewhat quiet.

I just got into music production and Al who helped me picked these out did an incredible job! These are flat meaning they haven’t added bass boost and you get the purest sound to get the best out of mixing organically! Extremely comfortable too

I’ve had these headphones for a few years now. They’re amazing, great audio quality, comfortable as heck, I will definitely be buying sennheiser in the future.

Happy with it. My first real headphone buy after buying bluetooth type headphones. Big jump up in sound quality. Very clear and crisp and good clean bass. I can't really compare to much but it's comfortable and easy to drive with my schiit magni 3+. Works pretty good on my pixel 4a too.

Awesome headsets probably the most comfortable I’ve ever worn in my entire life. I think they are great quality and structure. And sound as well super crisp and I can wear for long period of time.

Sennheiser once again showing the things they are capable, never fails to disappoint. They deliver in in amazing stereo imaging and a nice not too open Soundstage. But also a nice flat frequency response that delivers Clean Bass that even though not the best for applications of EDM. becomes really nice for Competitive Shooters and Detail pick up for analytical usage because of the bump up in treble also. It does take some time to get used to them. But once the clamping force goes away. And when your ears burn in to the FR of the HD 560S’s they truly become something that you find yourself coming back too.

I moved up from the Sennheiser 598's and I'm glad I did. The 560S headphones sound perfect. Not so perfect is Best Buy. I took a chance buying open box rated excellent but instead of getting the 9.8 ft cord, I got the 6 ft cord instead. Besides sound quality, I purchased the 560S for the longer cord. Best Buy should not have allowed this to happen. It wasn't worth saving $15 on the open box after having to spend $12 buying the longer cord from Geekria. Lesson learned, stick with only buying new from Best Buy.
