DT770, 569, X2HR, Bose. These are my favorite of the lot. Exceptionally clear, wonderful soundstage, fantastic separation. If you don’t mind the open back (they do leak a bit at 50+ percent volume on an iPod, though I tend to listen much lower.) and can get a cable if you don’t want the 10ft monster cable with the silly adapter (usually about $10, I got an official Sennheiser one for $25) they’re a fantastic buy.

None come close to the EQ balance these headphones come with out of the box! Pair it with a Soundblaster external or internal sound card and you’ll have the best combination of audio while staying within an affordable budget!

Good Starter Headphones

I will say if you want a better sound you might have to buy a DAC but as is they are good quality headphones.
