Great. More bass and a highs more present than the HD600s. Mids not as clear though. A steal at 199.99 though.

Great headphones if you have EQ available. Otherwise, these sound pretty rough honestly.
They do need a bit of power. They'll run on a laptop output but won't be at their best.
The good news is the receive EQ REALLY well. You can make them sound as good as anything. Even a fair amount of bass (there are better options but it's serviceable).

For studio and audio-creation? Probably good. For gaming and music listening - boring.
I liked the size of these and they were the most comfortable headphones I tried. Still made my head uncomfortable in about an hour.
Sound quality is decent but at this point, you're not getting anything you won't get from more convenient wireless headphones. This is just okay and the flat neutral sound makes it very boring.
Overall, these are decent headphones but not as good as people claim.

I would love to accurately rate these headphones but unfortunately my order was cancelled without even notifying me. My refund is processing still but I was waiting for the delivery and never even got any contact about my order being cancelled. I'm very frustrated because I bought these specifically to do work and waiting 10 days for just the refund has thrown me completely behind.

Cant leave a proper review, because the ones I received didn’t have the adapter in the box. I figured, “okay I got a return, and someone didn’t put it back in the box.” I returned it to the store and got a brand new one, opened it there at the sales desk, and no adapter. False advertising on Sennheisers part.

I understand neutral tuning. However, no amount of equalizer adjusting seems to tamp down the shrillness of the treble nor bring out the sub-bass. Headphones are described as audiophile, but unfortunately I dont hear it.

Was excited to get some dedicated listening headphones to pair with my stereo receiver. Was disappointed the moment I plugged them in. Poor sound quality and not what I expected at all. Returned immediately

Bought these for gaming. After about 2 months the headset starting cutting out. I would have to tap the sides of the headset to get them to work again. Almost like something is loose. They sound good, but I don't think that I'd recommend them.

For $200 I am amazed at the sound quality of these bad boys and especially the comfort level! These are my favorite for long sessions because of the open back (airy sound) that makes everything perfectly neutral. This is my first pair of open back headphones, so I found out first hand that there is NO bass exaggeration, but incredible clarity. They are made very simple as far as the physical design.. Sennheiser put the money into the audio and comfort and kept all the extra fancy features out. Great to have as a second pair of headphones for a wired experience and using them for gaming is recommended 100%. In conclusion, Sennheiser did it again, and did it the best as usual. They are currently sold out everywhere, and now I know why..

Decent headset. but for $200 I would have expected the ear cups to not be falling off after 2 years of use.. kind of crappy imo. Not to mention the metal on the outside of the cups has rusted
