Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the HD 560S Wired Open Aire Over-the-Ear Audiophile Headphones' sound quality and comfort, making them suitable for long listening sessions. The lightweight design and good fit also contribute to a positive user experience, with some finding them great for gaming. However, some customers have noted that the bass may not be emphasized enough for some listeners, and the cable length may be excessive.

These Sennheiser open air headphones are fantastic. They fit very comfortably and sound crisp with excellent highs and deep bass. The open air design works well and allows one to hear both ambient room sounds as well as headphone audio cleanly. Great headphones

    Open Box "Win"

Had this pair on my wish list for a few months and was waiting for a sale but ended up with an opportunity to snag an open box "excellent" online. Not gonna lie, I was waiting and hoping for an open box deal to pop up and would check regularly. Let me start with I knew the risk with open box headphones, I'm sure you guys have read the same stories I have, but the price was way too good to pass up so I took the chance. The box was a little beat up but the headset itself was actually like new, I was pleasantly surprised. Not really any indication that the headphones were used at all. It was one of those times when you open the box and can't believe that it looks so good, so you're just hoping it actually produces sound when you plug them in lol. The headset itself is incredible, there's plenty of reviews out there. This review is to show people who are skeptical of open box deals, it's simply worth it for the chance to get something like new for 1/4 its retail price. If you get a dud, just return it. In my case I got extremely lucky, just be patient and do your research.

These were my first foray into audiophile headphones and I decided to go for a decent pair of open-backs. Really love these headphones, lightweight, comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the sound quality is great, I can distinguish layers in my favorite music that I didn't notice before.

Gaming, music at home or out and about you can't do much better than these. There is a reason these are very popular. Plastic build so you have to take care of them but very light weight and comfortable. And of course they sound great.

Because they’re open-back, audio feels spacious and precise. In competitive games, this translates to excellent directional accuracy you can clearly hear footsteps, distant gunfire, or subtle environmental cues. The imaging is sharp, which gives you a real advantage when trying to pinpoint where sounds are coming from. Unlike bass-heavy “gaming” headsets, the HD 560S keeps the sound balanced and accurate. Explosions feel impactful without overwhelming

Honestly one of the best pairs of head phones I have ever owned especially for the money! Pros: Great soundstage, great bass, balanced sound, comfortable, easy to drive. Cons: I wish it used a mini-XLR connector, and I wish it came with a balanced cable.

Crisp, Smooth, Deep Sounds and Comfortable Design

I'm a casual listener and needed over-the-ear headphones for watching movies on my monitor with my Blu-ray player. This is my first product from Sennheiser and the sounds are crisp, smooth, and deep. It feels like a live performance, a very close-feeling audio experience. For example, rather than just hearing one sound and then the next isolated, you get both sounds together seamlessly. Since they are open headphones, they are not noise-cancelling, but the Velour cushions create some enclosure and detachment from your surroundings. The Velour is also very comfortable and they do not hurt your head, even after a long movie marathon. The wire can be tricky sometimes. If you don't plug it in and rotate it correctly, you may get sound coming from one ear over another. When it connects, it is very rewarding to hear. I would recommend these headphones to casual and avid audiophiles, for movies, music, and gaming too.

After over a year of use, I still absolutely love these headphones. They can feel a little warm from time to time, but the comfort is still enough to wear them for an extended period of time. Sound quality is great compared to most closed back headphones I’ve used before.

Lets get the obvious out of the way. Great budget over ear headset, very detailed, bass is full not thin. But you need to run them on an amp in order to get the full body from these headphones. You also will want to invest in a more manageable cable. The stock cable is a sad mess. I use mine on a Qudelix and a pioneer Qa800. I compared it to the sound of my Note 8 and its not even a even comparison. If your comong from some crappy Beats or air pods , then youll be blown away by these headphones.

The sound of these headphones are very close to Studio Quality. The cable is the right length, and the earpads don’t squeeze your head. I had been looking at Bluetooth headphones for a few months, but really good ones never dropped below $200. I’ve had Sennheiser products in the past, and they’ve been more hit than miss, but that level of quality usually comes with a premium price. I decided a wired pair of headphones wouldn’t be too much of a hindrance. They’re for at-home use (for my PC). They have a reasonable footprint, and they are open ear. So, no noise canceling, but I don’t know that you’ll miss or even need it. No mic either for you gamers, but if you’re picking these up you may already have a solution for that in mind.

i use to be only a noise canceling, closed back type of headphone user for gaming. i’ve never tried open back but my god i’d never go back now. the comfortability is amazing. i don’t even notice they’re on my head. don’t fall for “gaming” branded headsets. i was in search for a headset that would fit my entire ear and not scrunch them in, these are them. you won’t be disappointed if you’re wanting something that doesn’t make your head feel like you’re underwater.

I am a long time musician with a small home recording studio. I bought these headphones after a great deal of research, including reviewing the frequency response diagrams and other measurements on rtings and other review websites, as well as watching lots of video reviews. The specs are as good or better than many audiophile headphones costing two to four times more. The frequency response is very flat and even across the spectrum, with no hype, and the sound is transparent and spacious. That makes these perfect for mixing in the studio as well as for detailed listening, especially if you like an even response. Hear every instrument, every detail, even at low volumes to protect those ears. Very comfortable as well. The bass is quite accurate, but those wanting lots of bass over even response should look at closed-back headphones or headphones that hype the bass. And for those looking for even response with the isolation of a closed-back headphone, such as for laying down tracks in the studio, check out the AKG K371 model, another great value.

Greatness beyond measure for the price this blows the competition out of the water. Better cans will run you 4 figures. These maintain crystal clear quality throughout its output range even at very high volumes. I have tested several including the beyerdynamic dt series and they just didnt compare. The sennheisers have a beautiful sound signature; punchy bass that does sound mudded in addition to the fact that it doesn't overpower the other sounds. Soundstage is amazing; so much so that I use these for competitive gaming as well. *Disclaimer I'm running these with a fiio k5 pro dac amp and an equalizer (Boom audio). For you to get the most of these headphones I recommend you run them with a stack (dac and amp) or all in one solution like I have.

Happy with it. My first real headphone buy after buying bluetooth type headphones. Big jump up in sound quality. Very clear and crisp and good clean bass. I can't really compare to much but it's comfortable and easy to drive with my schiit magni 3+. Works pretty good on my pixel 4a too.

These headphones are expensive, that's obvious, but they're certainly worth it. I've owned these for almost a year now and have had no problems with them. They sound amazing and make it easier to hear all the details in my music. I'd recommend these to anyone who is looking for high quality premium headphones.
