Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the HD 560S Wired Open Aire Over-the-Ear Audiophile Headphones' sound quality and comfort, making them suitable for long listening sessions. The lightweight design and good fit also contribute to a positive user experience, with some finding them great for gaming. The Sennheiser HD 560S are an excellent pair of open-back headphones, especially for the price. The sound is very clean and detailed, with a neutral tuning that makes music, gaming, and movies all sound natural and balanced.

Can't go wrong with Sennheiser. I previously had the 280HDs and the padding feel apart after 4 years. These are definitely a step up in build quality and comfortability. A disconnectable wire is also amazing, especially because it could be strained over time like my 280HDs that did not disconnect from the wire. Dog chews it? Easy to replace for like 10 bucks (3rd party). Whether you're a casual headphone user or an audiophile, these are a great pair for anybody. Audio is very clear. Be warned that these do not noise cancel. I can hear through them very well, and while I like this, I'm sure many won't.

My first Audiophile pair of headphones and they are pretty good , only thing is you will need a amp/DAC to bring them fully out but overall they were good for a first pair at the price they were.

I absolutely love these headphones, they are perfect for mixing, general listening, and gaming. I usually use these in an assortment of ways like mixing music, hooking it up into a guitar amp to shred for my ears only, and to really vibe whilst I do work for 8 hours. It’s honestly top notch, some of the reviews on this product say the “bass isin’t there” or “it clamps too tightly on my head” but for me personally they’re great on my head, and they match nicely with a decent headphone amp to drive them. I enjoy these headphones so much I actually bought 2 lol. Really recommend these for really anything

    Excellent neutral sound

Impressive and balanced sound, especially in the mid and high ranges. Cymbals, chimes, and other high-pitched sounds sparkle wonderfully without being harsh. As is common with open backed headphones, the bass is slightly quieter than in other designs and could use an equalizer to bump it up a touch. The sound stage and overall sound quality more than makes up for this though. Comfort is good overall, although people with a wider head may want a headphone stand that keeps the band stretched to help reduce the clamping force.

I like to think that I am informed headphone person without being a wildly picky audiophile. I sit at my desk for most of the day working and I like to listen to music and podcasts. I have an above average size head that can get sweaty from time to time. These headphones are great for me, they are good enough quality that the music doesn't sound bad, and since they don't have leather cups, they don't stick to my ears. All in all, these are good, and good is good enough for me.

These headphones are amazing! Absolute classic that lives up to the name. Though beware they do touch your ear tips, though it's un noticeable for me after a bit. And they are a little flat and bright for me out of the box, but I got a zendac v2 with truebass. Makes them soujd perfect imo.

I used to think that there were plenty of mainstream headphones that were good enough for me, mainly sticking to Sony and a couple other brands since I used to be a bass head (No, I never owned Beats, huge waste of money) But now I have seen just what I'm actually supposed to be hearing and these headphones helped me out a lot. Keep in mind that I have owned other open back headphones before this, the Philips SHP9500 and 9600, Koss KPH30i and Grado SR80e. But these are the first pro-ish headphones I have had and they are worth every scent of their $200, in fact I would say that you're getting these for a steal. However, the first complaint that I have is that there is only one cable in the box, and it's an incredibly long and coiled cable. Now, I understand that these are meant to be run off an amp or desktop hardware, but the very least they can do is include a shorter cable. Out of the box, the clamp pressure is high, not so much that it's unbearable but enough to give me a headache after 20 minutes. I suggest stretching these out with a stack of books. Yes, they are made of plastic, but it's a high quality plastic that is perfectly acceptable. What I especially love is the color scheme, full matte black. The sound signature is the most interesting part about this headphone - completely flat with slight emphasis on the treble. Now some mainstream listeners would not like this, but if you find a song that has bass mixed into the track, you can still hear it. However these headphones are meant more for different types of music, mainly instrumental or lighter music. Don't get me wrong, Pop, Rap and House music will sound great there, but these headphones focus on the mids and highs and leave the bass a bit behind. In fact it could even be argued that these headphones can be used to mix and monitor music and audio. So for me, as long as you listen at a desk or have a portable amp dac, these are highly enjoyable headphones for those that want something that isn't mainstream and can provide a very different experience with the music you're already familiar with.

I’ve owned many headsets for studio/gaming work. Nothing compares to level of quality these headphones have. You’ll notice the difference instantly. You’re able to hear so many different things you could never hear on any other headset. The level of detail and quality is noticeable and great. Highly recommend if you play games or do studio work.

I use these headphones every day. I use them for playing games, this is one of the best pairs of headphones I have ever had when it comes to surround sound and sound clarity. If not THE best. The quality is out of this world. I play siege and cod and any FPS you can think of as well as story based and cinematic games. Blows every headset I have ever gotten out of the water. Including my astro a-40s and 50s. hyper x cloud II's and the Logitech G pro x2 lightspeed. There is no built in mic, but I just use a stand mic.

I purchased these as "Open Box - Excellent" condition on a whim. Headphones arrived and were in perfect shape. They are quite good and transparent headphones. I read the reviews and everybody said they were excellent intro-level audiophile level headphones. I agree. Very good for open back headphones and I recommend them. Very happy with my purchase.

Probably the best introduction to audiophile headsets. I used to game and listen to music on "gaming" headsets and now that I have tried these, I can't imagine going back. The amount of detail and clarity is insane for the price. These are amazing for games like cs2 and valorant. I wish I had known about these when I was younger. If you're thinking about upgrading your audio setup, definitely try these with a dac amp. I guarantee you will love it.

    Amazing Sound, But Strong Clamp

First, I would like to say that this arrived in pristine condition. When I put them on, I noticed the clamp force was pretty strong, but once I adjusted the band length and fixed the positioning on my head, it was comfortable. I tried a gaming session with them and after 2-3 hours I forgot I even had them on. The only con would be no microphone but you could have a stand-alone one or buy an attachment for these specific headphones. Would recommend buying these, especially if you could snag them for open-box price.

Switched to these after using a pair Airpods Max, and added a Sound Blaster AE-5 Plus. Set my sound to Direct Mode, and it's a new world of sound for my games and music. I highly recommend these, definitely worth the money.

I am primarily interested in the clarity of the directional sound that these have for gaming purposes and they clearly and accurately reproduce footsteps or projectile movement/impact. Great for gaming. Musically they are pretty nice as well. Some finer details that get lost in cheaper headsets are noticeable on this pair. I also got a phenomenal price open box.

The best Sennheiser headphones ! I sold my 660S and HD58x after I got these. I read DMS's review on YouTube and decided to give them a shot and I am glad I did. Everything he said is what I hear. These are perfect in everyway I can think of. Bass is perfect with very good sub bass extension, mids are great like all other Sennheiser's and the top end is sweet. The mids bass bloat that most Sennheiser's have is gone on these. These scale with better quality music so if your music is low quality, these will let you know. I highly recommend these.

I had considered purchasing the top-of-the-line model, but I chose this one instead—the wired Sennheiser HD 560S—and they turned out to be simply magnificent. My wife loves them: she plays the piano while wearing them without feeling any fatigue at all, and the sound is simply stunning. Wired is the way to go, simple and the best.
