Possibly The Best True Wireless Experience

I have been a fan of Sennheiser for a long time, but had always only wear earbuds for runs. I bought some AirPods when they first came out to use for running, and rarely used them for anything else, as the sound quality on them isn't great. The AirPods started failing after only a year, and recently became completely unusable. Totally dissatisfied with my experience with Apple's earbuds, I decided to give these a go. Man was I blown away. The sound quality is so good, that I find myself using them in favor of some of my other over ear sets. I was expecting the sound quality to be much better (Apple / Beats isn't exactly known for their sound quality), but the overall user experience is much better than the AirPods as well. You get 4 gestures on each earbud, giving you far more control than you would get on AirPods, the pairing process is actually less buggy, and they are much more comfortable than the AirPods were. These are expensive earphones, and if you are in the market for true wireless in ear headphones, these are the best I have ever tried.

    Amazing Sound, adequate noise canceling.

The sounds is amazing on these. The noise canceling is adequate, but I was more interested in the sound quality. If you get really sweaty, they tend to slip out of your ear which is problematic. However, they do stay in place pretty well if you don't sweat profusely like I do when working out. I like the iOS app where you can also adjust the equalizer and chose the tap controls for each ear which is great because you can adjust volume, activate/deactivate noise canceling, and skip/rewind tracks. Again, the noise quality is amazing and I recommend these earbuds.

Listening to high quality music on my paid app (Spotify) was a waste since I was listening to it on poor quality headphones. After investing in these I feel like I’m in a record studio hearing all the subtle nuances that are often lost in budget headphones. The app interface leaves something to be desired and is not very user friendly unfortunately. There is a learning curb on how to use the touch controls but are very convenient now that I customized them on the app. People say I sound like garbage while using the headset driving. I’m constantly being ask to take them off Bluetooth because they can’t hear me. The active noise canceling is not reliable to use as a way to still hear others speaking to you with the plugs in but seems more useful when driving because you can hear the road noise of cars speeding past you on the 405. I use them on my motorcycle in carefully shoved in my helmet one ear at a time and am glad I have it as an option. Battery life is great except if you want to be enveloped in sound like I do constantly in noise canceling mode. Great buy but The price of them burned holes in my pocket. I don’t care because the music is that good! It’s like soothing aloe on charred piece of flesh where my wallet once was. - Zaaaang!

Best sounding true wireless I've heard

Great sound, fit well, quality build, I tried them all and these are the best of the lot. ANC is good. One complaint, I use them to listen to audible books when I hit the hay and I set the audible app timer for 30 min. in which time I usually fall asleep but the buds stay on. I have some momentum neckband phones and after a few min. of hearing nothing, they turn off. I wish the true wireless would do that. Otherwise they are the best.

Six months into using these for lawn care and snow blowing. I obsess on my lawn and we get 300 inches of snow so they get used and abused. These are comfortable and stay secured. The sound quality seems fine and loud enough. Noise cancelation works but nothing blocks out my oitdoor lawn equiptment 100%. Comparable to closed ear headphones though. I like these but are unsure if they are any better then a $50 pair, but I have not regretted the purchase.

The Sennheiser MTW 2s are very similar in sound to my first gen mtw earbuds. They are very full and immersive, with a good soundstage and are very so slightly more detailed than the first iteration. Sennheiser also decided to tone down the bass in the 2s, resulting in a more neutral sound signature. This may be a pro or a con depending on personal preferences, but with a little testing using the equalizer in the app, I roughly matched the sound of the first gen earbuds. Overall the sound is top notch for wireless earbuds, but will not match wired iems in terms of quality. The earbuds themselves are smaller than the first generation, and are shaped slightly differently. I have large ears, so these fit less snugly, but the redesigned surface makes the contact with my ear more comfortable as the metal contact pads scratched my ear on the first generation. Sennheiser also changed the case design, giving the case a darker canvas color as well as a sturdier hinge. Sennheiser, however, did not change the molds on the inside of the case, so the earbuds dont actually match the case perfectly when placing them in, so I have to be more careful when placing the earbuds back in the case, otherwise the earbuds may not charge or turn off. The transparency mode on these earbuds has also been changed. On the first generation the transparency mode was very true to life, but was still drowned out by an music. As a result, sennheiser has increased the volume on the transparency mode, but I have noticed a lot of white noise in the background while transparency mode was active(note this was mainly at night when my ears were more sensitive when this became a noticable issue). These earbuds also have a white noise that plays whenever they're on, as well as a very faint crackling of static whenever a youtube video loads, or generally whenever the earbuds are preparing to play sound. Active noise cancelling on earbuds still seems like a gimmick to me as well. I do notice a difference when noise cancellation is turned on, but it's not really worth the extra battery drain in my opinion. Getting a good seal with the silicon tips will already do a great job at sound isolation. Note: these earbuds seem to turn off by themselves after a few minutes of inactivity, and this will turn off transparency mode as well. I found this very annoying as I want to leave my earbuds in while browsing the web. These earbuds also take longer to connect, and I suspect this may be due to the fix that sennheiser developed for the battery drain issue on the first generation. I'm assuming these turn off fully in the case, while the first generation didnt, resulting in a connection time that's nearly triple the time of the first generation's. These earbuds also have a main and secondary, or master and slave connection. This means that the right earbud can be used by itself, but the left one cannot, as the signal is sent from the phone to the right earbud, which then sends it to the left. One curious thing about this is that the earbuds turn on individually and the left one can turn on before the right one can. Perhaps sennheiser will patch in individual connections? Overall these earbuds are very good, a combination of great sound quality, combined with the feature set makes these a contender for the best wireless earbuds on the market. I just wish sennheiser had ironed out the previous items mentioned, as with a pair of earbuds that cost 300, I did expect a slightly more seamless experience.

Sennheiser has been known for years for their excellent sound quality and these buds help them to continue that reputation. They have a simple but decent app with EQ, a very clean and robust soundstage, and really good connectivity. The call quality is clear enough in good conditions but just ok once hit with background noise or some wind. No wireless charging which is a little bit of a bummer but once you hear their sound you kinda forget about whatever shortcomings they might have

I own 3 other brands of headphones , in ear and over the ear headphones over my over the years. The Momentum 2. have been one of my favorite pairs. One of the most important things I was looking for the most was comfort and noise cancelling. Theses in ears have exceeded my expectations and I got. a great deal on them which was an added bonus. I would recommend these to anyone looking. for quality in ears.

Great earbuds! I’m replacing my old earbuds that wouldn’t hold a charge anymore. Got the upgraded “newer” version and they’re awesome. No issues holding a charge. The sound is amazing as well as the noise canceling feature. If you’re looking for deep, rich bass and great sound, look no further. Great buy from Best Buy!!

In my most honest opinion, you are paying a premium for the sennheiser brand. dont get me wrong, the earphones sound great, ive received compliments on their unique textured case. download the app and update the earphone firmware when you receive them to get the most out the equalizer and customizable touch controls. i am aware of how ANC is designed to eliminate low frequencies. if you're buying for ANC, there's other options out there that work better in that department, and over ear headphones (like sony xm3, xm4 are coming soon) are much better than ANC earbuds.

Best sound quality of the True Wireless

If sound quality is the number one concern you have when looking for a pair of True Wireless In Ears, well stop reading and just go get them. From excellent isolation to unobtrusive noise canceling. Heart warming mids, detailed highs than don't get fatiguing, impressive and realistic bass presence, all the way to even providing an actual sound stage, albeit an intimate one. These absolutely are the sound quality winner. BUT they are not perfect. Immediately callers on the other end noticed the lack of a quality microphone, making them unrealistic for phone calls. The carrying case is very large, making them hard to take with you every day. The Bluetooth connection is slow, making a quick handoff not really an option. So it really depends on the use case for the person. For me, they fell short, and I returned them. I wanted something I could take with me every day and make a quick transition from talking on my watch or my ZFold 2 to popping in a bud to continue the conversation with, since that is NOT a phone I wanted to hold against my head with my shoulder. Also, just sitting and enjoying music to yourself doesn't make much sense with these. Theyll never sound as good as a real headphone like say the Momentum 3 wireless headphones. So, to me they just don't make sense.

I owned the original version of these.....I was hesitant to upgrade because of how happy I was with them...decided to try the Momentums 2 and to my surprise the noise canceling makes a huge difference in my opinion and the bass is even deeper! Plus, no more draining of the battery issues!! Glad I bought the originals w/the geek squad coverage!

APTX Bluetooth Headphones with Killer sound

If you are looking to do any kind of cloud gaming on your phone such as Microsoft Cloud gaming from Xbox Game pass or Google Stadia Latency is killer and these are pretty much the best option out there. There is Low Latency APTX codec headphones and the 1st version of these did offer them but if you have a samsung phone like a note 20 ultra or a S20 they do not have this codec installed so for cloud gaming I would highly recommend these. Not a gamer, these have killer sound. I have yet to work out with them but they feel like they are not going to fall out. I loved a pair of Jabra Elite 75ts but when I would walk they would start to slip out and couldnt get a good fit, so far so good on these. Over all love them only gripe is the case is a little larger but nothing compared to bose or Beats. bottom line if you want the best out right now look no further

Sennhesier has the best most accurate sound you could ask for. Lasted 1.5 years before the right side quit working. Sennheiser carries a 2 year warranty with all their products. Sent it in for repair and they sent me the momentum 3 earbud in return.

These have very full sound and are actually for me comfortable to use. if you like bass it is full without being overbearing. only thing is when the case battery is low and the earbuds it only charges the right one so makes you think something is broken.

These sound great. They are heavy though and do not like to stay in your ears because of how heavu they are. Also the controls are limited compared to other true wireless earbuds. For the price features should have been better and you should have been able to use either earbud separately. Unfortunately the right earbud is the master earbud so you can only use that one solo.

These headphones are simply perfection. I have put them up against the Airpod Pros in many different scenarios and they by far beat them in every way. They are very comfortable and the sound is superior in every way. If your a music nerd and love a crisp yet bassy sound... These are the headphones for you!!!!

Sennheiser is my favorite audio company. The sound on these are the best TW earbuds on the market. I think the new CX True Wireless model is a better bang for your buck though. No ANC or ambient mode on them but the battery is better (9 hours), they still sound great, and you can use each earbud independently. Lastly they are cheaper than these. If you value ANC and don't mind a shorter battery then go for the Momentum 2.

I had the first iteration of the Sennheisers, and I absolutely loved them. I ended up crushing the case by accident, so it was time to get some new ones. The biggest draw for me is the sound they produce, and they are way more comfortable IMO than the air pods. I do CAD drafting and use them 100% of the time while I work with no uncomfortable feeling in my ears. The active noise cancellation works great when I want to have it on, and the battery life is about 6hrs non stop.
