Great sound quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I charged my Sennheiser - MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 Noise Cancelling Earbud Headphones - Black first, until the charging light turned green that meant power was at 100%. I achieved a comfortable fit, by trying out the four different sizes of earbud adapters. Pairing was easily done by touching each earbud for three seconds. My phones’ screen, after turning on Bluetooth, showed Momemtum TW 2 which I tapped to connect my phone. Downloading the Sennheiser App enabled me to fine tune my earbuds to my listening preferences. The left earbud controls the play, pause, next track, previous track commands and lowers the volume. I had problems trying to get the earbuds to respond to the previous track command. Many times, I had to repeat tapping the left earbud three times to get it to go to the previous track. There were no other discrepancies I noticed. The right earbud controls the voice assistant, transparent hearing, active noise cancellation, and volume up. Tapping both right and left earbuds simultaneously allows me to accept/end/reject calls. The sound is powerfully loud and with the Sennheiser App, I can adjust the bass and treble to achieve the right pitch of my music. The earbuds fit securely inside my ear, with no loosening of the fit. The transparent hearing produces nearby sounds around me so that I am not oblivious to any happenings around me. I do have a problem when trying to pair with the app first as opposed to just simply pairing with my phones’ Bluetooth first. I find it easier to pair the phone first and then connect the Sennheiser App. I also noticed that there is no way to turn off the earbuds except for placing them back into their charging case. Outside of their case, power will drain automatically from non usage. My final analysis is one of satisfaction with the quality of sound and the basic functionality of the Sennheiser - MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 Noise Cancelling Earbud Headphones - Black.

Exceeds expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first experience with true wireless ANC earbuds, and it's not possible for me to be any happier. These headphones meet and exceed all of my expectations. They are so comfortable I often forget they're in my ears. They fit snugly and never feel like they're going to fall out, no matter what I'm doing. The sound quality is incredible. The noise cancellation seems to be pretty decent, although when the buds are perfectly in my ears they block out so much sound already that I honestly can't tell when the ANC is on and when it's off. Overall, 100% worth the price and would recommend for anyone.

Outstanding sound quality - not perfect comfort
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The charging case for the Momentum earbuds is great! Easy to pop in and out and easy to see if charged by the color of the dot. The instruction book was easy to follow and they paired with my phone immediately with no issues. It was a little cumbersome at first trying to correctly position them in my ears. The left one fell out a few time before I got the hang of inserting it right. I've worn them for a little over 3 hours before they start to irritate the outer part of ear. I wish they were a little more "squishy" - less rigid - perhaps they would be more comfortable. That being said however, the sound quality is outstanding. I've used them for music and for talking on the phone and the sound is crystal clear and balanced. For short durations, these earrbuds are exceptional. For longer time spans of over 2-3 hours, they are not that comfortable. The pros outweigh the cons for me, and I will use them, but could be so much more if just a little more comfortable.

Fantastics Noise Cancelling Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As Spring rolls around, it's time to get back out on the road and do some running. And man is running boring without tunes, so it was perfect timing getting my new Sennheiser Momentum 2 Earbuds this week. I had owned Seinnheiser NC headphones back in the day and was always impressed with the sound quality and overall quality of the product. The same is true for the Momentum 2 Earbuds. They sound fantastic, are full of features including an app and the quality is topnotch! The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the cool cloth-covered carrying/charging case. It's a perfect size to put in your pocket or backpack and is super stylish. The earbuds fit securely into the case for transport and it is also a charging case which will prolong the usability of the earbuds without plugging them in to charge. A USB-C charging cord, 4 different sized silicone tips and instructions are all included in the box. Setup Setup was very straight forward, the earbuds were charged when I received them, so they were ready to go. Simply put them in the correct ear and touch them both for 3 seconds and they will connect with your device. It was that easy. I didn't install the app until after playing with the earbuds for 30 minutes or so. Once the app was installed, I started playing with the equalizer and customized some of the controls. After another 30 minutes or so of adjusting and creating different equalizer profiles, the earbuds were fully customized to my sound and NC preferences. Fit These earbuds are a bit different than some of the other wireless earbuds I've used recently. It took me a couple of tries to get them seated properly in my ears. There are 4 different sized silicone tips so the size can be adjusted for different ears. After installing the large tip, they fit securely and never budged while running and biking outside and running on a treadmill. Sound I'm not necessarily an audiophile, but I know a great sounding earbud when I hear one. Out of the box, in the "Neutral" setting, they are kind of bland. I used the Smart Control app and setup a few new equalizer modes and was able to dial in the audio to my liking. Active Noise Canceling The ANC feature works perfectly and really cuts out the road noise while running and I've started using them for Zoom meeting at work and with friends. The ability to block out surrounding noise and really focus on the music or conversation is key. They can also be setup "Transparent Hearing" to allow for some sound passthrough. Overall I was really impressed with the ANC capabilities. Controls The earbuds are controlled by simply tapping or holding the individual earbuds. It's a bit of a learning curve to get them dialed in, but they are also customizable in the Smart Control app. The controls for the phone features are not customizable. Pros - Sounds quality and customization - Build quality of the earbuds and case is top-notch - Ability to control earbuds with finger touches - Battery life - with the included case, I've used them for an entire day without needing to recharge - Fit - once adjusted to my ear size, they fit snug and are comfortable during long runs - Smart Control App - great for customizing controls and sound quality - Ease of setup and use - Water-resistant - great for the active user Cons - Sound quality is a bit "muted" on phone calls, have to crank up the volume on some alls Overall the Sennheiser Momentum 2 ANC Wireless Earbuds are very impressive in all areas and I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a set of wireless earbuds.

Great Sound and Comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A rich and balanced sound is what you would expect from Sennheiser and it is delivered across the many different types of music from Latin to American Standards to Symphonic that I enjoy. At first I thought these would be clunky and feel heavy. I was completely wrong. You must use the "twist" as they are placed in your ears. I did not have to use any of the earpiece adapters included in the package. I have worn them for several hours and they are comfortable and stable. Right out of the box they are charged and ready to pair. There is a small fold out leaflet giving you initial instructions. Following the instructions they paired easily with my Android phone and I had music playing without any issues at all. The same was true with pairing with my iPad. It was also nice to watch movies on the iPad with these buds. So much dialogue seems to be whispered these days. The instructions pointed me to an APP to access some control configurations and update the buds. Be sure to pick the correct APP as some have similar names. The APP install was quick and the buds performed an update without issue. For some reason the APP required Location Access to perform the Bluetooth Low Energy Scan. This seemed odd but I allowed it. The APP is used to configure the core device settings. The equalizer is very basic and does not allow for individual frequency band adjustments and levels for those who want such granular control. Some nice options are controlled by touching either the left or right bud. These are described in the APP. Phone calls will ring in gently and provided great audio in both directions on my calls. A feature I use often is transparent hearing to allow me to hear my surroundings without having to remove the buds. I can also use one tap on the bud to bring up my voice assistant which is a nice touch and has come in handy. Of course the noise canceling works great. It is turned on/off with taps on the bud. I no longer have to listen to leaf blowers and lawn mowers when sitting outside on my patio reading a book. Noise levels in suburbia are getting louder and louder. I suspect they will work great on airplanes as well. Be aware that no charging power supply is included, only a short USB-C cable is provided but who doesn't have many of these lying around. The hard shell storage/charging case is well done and holds the buds in magnetically and has a battery charge indicator. I look forward to enjoying these buds for years to come.

Great sound, look and feel
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are probably the best sounding earbuds in this price range, consistent with this brand's reputation of excellent quality. Battery life is great too. The reason I gave them 4 and not 5 stars is that there's a weird (albeit very slight) sound lag when watching videos. It doesn't seem like it's been addressed by the manufacturer so far. But if good sound and overall quality is what you're looking for, these are the earbuds for you.

Returned Power beats and Airpods pro for this
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned both the power beats and air pods bro however after doing some research, I had to try these out. They are much more comfortable than the power beats, and up to par with the airpods pro. In terms of features, they are pretty similar to the airpods pro, except that the M2's had much better battery life. Most importantly, the sound. In comparison to the powerbeats, this blows it out of the water. No competition there. Much clearer mids and highs. I couldnt even hear the singers voice clearly in the powerbeats. Compared to the airpods pro, the M2's were still better. The bass is much richer and the mids and highs are more clear. Overall the M2s are an immersive sound experience and I have never heard music sounds so good. The airpods have good sound however the M2's are next level. Never going back to apple sound after trying these out.

Good for music, bad for calls
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality 5/5 quality of sound is great as always is from this company. Physical appearance 4/5 I just like the look better than most in ear pieces. I enjoy the mat black looks. Carry case 4/5 a little more bulk than I’d like, takes up quite a bit of pocket space. The trade offs are worth it though. Battery life 5/5 can use it multiple through multiple events and still not need a charge. Call quality 1/5 - several times people stated they couldn’t hear me, or hear too much background noise. I work security and often use these in-ear ear buds to be less obvious from some of the crowds I have to work in. AirPods work better for calls. Functionality 3/5 app has great customization. When you go to use just one bud at a time, it only functions with the right ear not left. Oh

Amazing sound quality and design!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first pair of Sennheiser's earbuds and I have to say they are worth the money. I have had my fair share of ear buds from Galaxy Buds, Airpods Pro,to Bose Sport and these hands down are the best pair of earbuds. The app allows you to adjust the high's, mid's, and Lows. If you like bass, you wont be disappointed! They create a very good seal in your ear and they will NOT fall out of your ears, something that I would experience with the Airpods Pro's. If you don't mind spending the money, I would definitely recommend these earbuds!

Excellent earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have so many earbuds from different brands and never bought this until a few weeks ago. No regrets! The momentum 2 fits perfectly in my ears and doesn’t fall. I didn’t change the ear cushions right out of the box and the these were included in different sizes. It is comfortable. All you have to do is twist it in place and voila! The sounds are awesome and the noise canceling feature is outstanding! Buy it on sale like I did! You won’t regret it.

These buds are excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me quite a few tries to learn how to properly insert the buds into my ears but when I did I was rewarded with the best sound I've heard from wireless headphones. The most noticeable feature that I immediately picked up on was the distinct separation of instrument sounds and the resulting soundstage it creates. The ANC is not even in the Bose or AirPods Pro league (I also have both) but from a music reproduction standpoint the Sennheiser is quite a step up.

Great sound if you're still
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping these would be an improvement over Airpod Pros in attenuating wind noise while riding a bicycle. They're a lot worse. The ANC on these is mediocre, and actually makes wind noise worse with it on than when it's off. Also, the seal is very delicate: using them for workouts results in all sorts of movement of the buds, ruining sound quality. In ideal situations, they sound much better than the Airpod Pros, and they're great for driving, or doing dishes, but anything more strenuous makes them pretty inadequate.

Great with some deal-breaking flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I REALLY wanted to like these. I’ve heard and read nothing but positive reviews. My experience wasn’t all negative, but certainly not all positive either. Pros: - Build quality is definitely premium. A very important factor at this price point. - Sound quality is on par with others at this price point. - App is easy to use. Cons - while app is easy to use, it contains only very basic controls. - once connected, these come up as two separate devices on my Bluetooth list. That admittedly is a pet peeve of mine and annoys me to no end. - case, while well built, could be made of more premium materials - MOST IMPORTANT: These hurt my ears like crazy after 20 minutes. Hurt so bad that I couldn’t use them until the next day - I found battery life to be average at best. I have actually purchased these on two occasions. The first time I was pumped after reading and hearing all the hype. To me, the sound was ok, but the fit was the issue. I returned them after a few sessions and with very sore ears. After thinking it over, I thought maybe I had ear tips in that were too big. I purchased again and tried the S and XS tips. No help. It is the shape of the body of the device that bothers me. My ears may be on the small side, but are definitely not tiny. They would hurt so bad after 15-20 minutes I would take them out and my ears would be throbbing. As a frequent domestic air traveler, I need something I can be comfortable with for 2-4 hours with these, I would quickly abandon and go back to my trusty AirPods Pro or QC35 II. At this point, I have tried (literally) every premium pair of true wireless earbuds and have yet to find my unicorn. I have high hopes for the B&W PI7 and M&D MW08 when I can get my hands on a pair. Until then, I’ll rely on a combination of AirPods Pro and QC35 II. Side note, I’m also on the hunt for over ear headphones to dethrone the QC35. Everything I have tried (including XM4, AirPods Max, M&D MW65…) have failed in some aspect. XM4 in sweat factor, AP Max in Battety life and MW65 in weight and sound quality. If you have recommendations, let’s hear them!
