Solid pair headphones, good build quality and comfort. ANC is a bit lacklustre but gets the job done for the most part. But sound quality more than makes up for it. Comparing it to Sony xm series or the AirPods maxes, the Momentum 4's really sound the most balanced and clear. Not to mention the 60 hour battery life is amazing, I barely need to charge the headphone most weeks

Really like these headphones and for my purposes its next to perfect. The a few issues i have is that the pass through isnt as good as i expected, and connection to a pc isnt as seemless as i wanted. Though i suspect that is an issue with how my set up currently functions and not the fault of the head phones. Over all the comfort, audio quality, and controls make it a good set. Also no need to mention battery life as it lasts a week before i charge it anyways

My first pair of over ear Bluetooth headphones and I'm very happy with them. They are comfortable which is so important in headphones. Sound quality is very good. Very importantly, the noise canceling is excellent! The app makes all of this easily adjustable. The Bluetooth connection works very well. They connect quickly and the connection doesn't drop. Most amazing is the battery life. I have owned them for a while but have not needed to charge them yet. Highly recommended!

I have a set of Sennheiser wired headphones and love them but purchased these for situations that make the wired ones impractical. This model has the same impeccable sound, but they really shine with noise cancellation enabled. It astounded me how well they work to mute outside noise. I use them several hours daily, and they have great battery life I initially had some issues with crackling, but a quick firmware update (applied using the phone app) resolved them. My only "complaint", for lack of a better term, stems from the amount of surface pressure on my ears. While not immediately painful (the cushions feel nice and soft), they do cause some discomfort after extended use but not enough for me to lament my purchase.

Of the Sony, Bose, Apple, etc 200-500 dollar flagships, these sound the best. If you're going for impressive sound stage, clarity, and flat signature, while being Bluetooth w/ ANC, this is it. The Sennheisers have no competitor in their price range. Not a diss to the others, each has their respective strengths, but these sound, simply, the best. And best battery life in segment. There's nothing the Sennheiser does poorly. There are things the other brands do better, but sound and battery ain't it. But beyond that, these have the capability to run off a USBC to USBC connection, or a 3.5mm cable, either in the powered or unpowered configuration. 60 ohm impedance in the unpowered configuration. This means even if the battery dies, you can still use them, or turn them off and run a DAC to push harder. I'm currently running them on my phone using AptX codecs and Tidal, until i eventually get a Moondrop Dawn Pro or comparable DAC to run off the USBC port of the phone. Get these. If you want sound that makes you smile and sends the shivers down your spine.

I was in the market for over the head earphones. I have been reading reviews and watching video comparison between the B&W PX7s, Sony XM5 and the Senheisser Momentum 4. Note that all 3 are well within the same price range. If you own a device that supports the LDAC codec, then it would be a no brainer to get the Sony. But seeing a review from Darko on youtube where he compared the M4 to the Bathys by Focal did it for me. Boy was I impressed with the sound of this thing. Neutral and not bass heavy. I like the design more by Sony but I don’t hate the Momentum 4s design either. Very comfortable in my head and had worn this in a 4 hour flight easy without feeling of discomfort on my ears. Battery life is impressive with 60hours, have’t tried it out though since I normally charge mine when it’s in the low side, and I don’t keep track of the usage either. Oh and I got these on sale for $299 which is a major plus.

I own many many many pairs of headphones, several audiophile-grade. When it comes to wireless, I have Beats, Apple, Audeze, Sony, Bose. If I lost these, I would buy them again. They have the best audio fidelity, incredible battery life, fold flat enough (they're always in my bag and I fly with them), noise cancellation is good enough when all the other features are so excellent. I especially appreciate the functionality when connected via USB -- the loudness is boosted somewhat on an iOS device, and you get ATMOS audio depending on whether Apple Music offers it. On top of that, I use it to monitor audio when shooting video -- works a treat via the USB port on my Osmo Pocket 3. These headphones do everything, and the call quality even meets my needs. Highly highly recommended. Especially when on sale.

Sennheiser Momentum 4 - The Best in BT/ANC phones

These are my second pair of Sennheiser Momentum wireless noise cancelling phones. My previous pair were the 2.0 version. The sound quality in both is excellent. Where the model 4’s excel are in comfort, extended battery life, even better performing noise cancellation, comfort and construction. Basically, there are improvements in every area versus my original phones, which were themselves already an excellent product. In fact, I still have them as a backup if ever needed. Battery life is almost doubled versus my old phones.

    Best Sound for Music!!

Short Version - If you're an audiophile and mostly use for tunes and one device, stop reading and buy. You can't get a better sound for music! The Deep Dive - I guess in todays market everybody has to have "an app for that". Like when your favorite pizza place started offering french fries, just doesn't always work. I've used Sennheiser solely since the 70's. As mentioned you can't get a truer sound for music than with their products. And this product is no different. Check out Arianna Grande's "Break Free" and the 808's will tear your head off. Pure, crisp "in your head" with amazing low frequency sound! As far as build, quite sturdy and comfortable, wearing hours without an issue. Comes with a nice travel case. The ANC strong, I'd say about 95% background noise gone. But unfortunately rather than review the superior audio quality of this product, the software becomes an integral part of these cans, so here I go. First the connection to Bluetooth. Now I understand why they choose the RF transmitter for so many years. Turn on your device, put the headphones on, push a button, done. The good news, you can use these headphones with anything that has BT. So transportable over all those devices. However, only two devices can be set to "on" at any given time. So you must go to the phone software and switch when changing. Since the phone pretty much always has to be connected to use the software, you can only set one more devices as "on". So everytime you switch devices you must change the toggle switch or it won't connect. If you plan on just using with one device like your home theater and phone, this will not be an issue. I have found the initial pairing a bit troublesome, especially if you have no or little experience with pairing. The instructions don't explain it well. Especially getting the phone into pairing mode. Like all things tech, once you get it, it's easy. If like me, if you plan on walking it around the house, the reception is GREAT! Unlike the RF versions that faded quickly. Now if you likewise plan on using on the computer in one room and your bedroom TV for instance, switching is a bit tricky. Remember to toggle the devices on/off in your software when changing. And if listening to music on your computer and surfing on your phone, if you hit a video on your phone, it may jump off the tunes to the phone video. Shutting down or moving off the video usually takes you back. Took me a minute to figure that one out. Seems the phone takes precedent. Maybe for calls. Tried taking cell and streaming calls a few times and very clear reception and immediately switched to call. Switching back to the original device if using phone a bit troublesome though. You may have to reconnect to original device. And when going back to a previous device you may have to reconnect again or when its been offline and charging. So far no drops in connectivity with one device. Some have complained about static. I have only noticed when switching inputs on my TV, like from cable to streaming (all built ins). The initial audio picks up about 2-5 seconds of white noise and then it's fine. Some syncing issue, I guess. Very occasional audio drops on Spotify, but I think that's the music software. Back to the M4 software, some nice features. Gives you battery status. Speaking of the battery, went 5 days of about 12 hours a day use till it went almost dead - 10%. I have a Samsung S21 phone and that charging cable works to charge the headsets. Remember your USB cable from the TV will most likely NOT work if TV off. I was miffed by not being able to replace the batteries in this unit, so I guess when they go dead for good, need a new model. Odd, but I guess good for product churn. The software choices - the product connect portion is pretty self explanatory, on and off for each device you've paired. Next the equalizer. It's OK, not a really a big range, just have to tinker with it. I found the bass boost great for music, not so much for TV!! Again play with it to get your taste. Haven't really used the other features in the software, so nothing to report there. Bottomline, they sound great and portable, the software can be somewhat useful, but limited, and if you don't mind a bit of tinkering with the nuances described, these cans are the ones to get!!

These headphones have checked all of the boxes for my personal needs. The ANC works well and can be adjusted via the app. The sound quality is phenomenal for this price range. Build quality is very nice and the overall comfort is great. I have worn these for 4+ hours continuously on a few occasions without ear fatigue. Battery life has been phenomenal. I have 30+ hours of use with 25% charge left on the initial factory charge and I tend to have the volume turned all the way up. There isn’t anything negative that I can say about these headphones. These set the bar very high and I feel you will agree once you hear them for yourself.

The headphones are beautiful and sleek. They feel really nice and are comfortable. They have a great battery life for the most part. I didn’t like that they had a somewhat strong chemical smell and a Prop 65 warning label. I was also disappointed that the sound quality wasn’t as great as everyone said it was. I was expecting way more from these headphones in terms of sound quality. The sound quality is good but not what I was expecting. The noise cancellation was pretty great at times I did feel a slight pressure, but overall very happy with the features and noise cancellation.

The sound quality is great. I needed a new type of sound I was using the Arctis Nova 4 Wireless from Steelseries. These headphones do not compare at all. Huge jump in build quality and sound. I did not realize how much I appreciated sound till I bought the Momentum 4 I would definitely recommend to a friend. These are way better then a gaming headset. The microphone is good for phone calls and the Noise canceling is something I have not experienced before honestly I fall asleep with these on and fall into deep sleep all of the other noises are just gone. I would say if you're going to use these with your pc I would recommend you use the aux cable the come with the headset. The battery life is another huge plus one charge does last me a whole 3 days I do use the headphones a lot. Noise canceling is on while its plugged in through aux so no distractions. Love them Sennheiser is my new favorite brand.

If sound is most important, these are the best overall in the class/price range. Better than Bose (by far), better than Sony or any of the other brands in the class. Very clear, good separation and more than enough bass (very low, but still tight/clear and able to rattle your head if you're into that). The noise cancelling isn't quite as good as Sony or Bose, but still more than adequate for any situation. They are very comfortable, feel very premium and the case is sturdy and feels very premium as well. And the battery life is far and away better than any of the competition. I have multiple pairs of headphones in this class and these are a pretty clear winner. Can't recommend enough.

Honestly very slept on headphones. THE BATTERY LIFE TRULY LIVES UP TO WHAT IT ADVERTISES! ANC is A1. Phone calls and mic are good. Listening to music, tv shows or movies, sound truly superb. It’s the little details that matter and they show especially when watching tv. Never had any connectivity issues. Only one problem I had but I’m still willing to give it 5 stars is that after almost 2 years they started tearing. Other than that, no other complaints. These deserve more recognition

I owned or tested several mid to premium Bluetooth headphones including B&W PX 7S2e, Sony XM5, B&W PX8, Bose QC ultra, and Focal Bathys. Not an audiophile, but have a trained ear. I use EQ. While Bose QC Ultra and Sony XM5 blows the rest out of the park in Noise Cancellation and comfort, imo they are not in the same league as B&W PX 7S2e, B&W PX8, and Focal Bathys in terms Sound Quality (it's very subjective). While, PX7 S2e and PX8 has exceptional separation, soundstage, clarity, and build quality, Momentum 4 comes close in all of those aspects. Momentum 4 is more fun to watch movies and general usage. Decent clamping force. I have a large head and clamping force is an important factor. Top 3 for music: 1. Focal Bathys 2. B&W PX7 S2e (with wired connection. Bluetooth is also pretty good) 3. B&W PX8 Top 3 for watching movies and general usage (comfort) 1. Momentum 4 2. B&W PX8 3. Focal Bathys and B&W PX7 S2e (with wired connection. Bluetooth is also pretty good) Most of the time I keep going back to Momentum 4 at the moment unless I want to listen to music in peace.
