Great sounding, great looking cans, if they last.

These sound fantastic, even better than the Momentum 3's they were replacing. Subjectively I liked the sound profile better than the Sony XM4 and 5's others in my household have. Noise cancellation seemed to be on par with the previous generation Momentums, but not quite at the Sony level. Ultimately I returned these, as, within a few weeks of purchase, they developed an intermittent crackling in the left ear cup - the same thing that started happening with my Momentum 3's (which lasted over 3 years) and lost patience. Sigh. Maybe others will have better luck.

These were an upgrade from my Momentum 2. Excellent sound. Great noise cancelling. Incredible battery life. Very comfortable fit. They don't fold but they do lay flat. Light enough for travel. If you enjoy your music these are the best sounding cans at this price. The touch controls are on the sensitive side but work great. They have multipoint connectivity and work great for phone calls. I tried all the others in this price range and these have the best sound quality. As a frequent flyer I give them top marks.

When it comes to sound quality, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones truly stand out. With their crisp audio reproduction, clear mid and high frequencies, and an ability to maintain quality even at higher volumes, these headphones deliver an exceptional listening experience. While they may not cater specifically to bass enthusiasts, if you consider yourself an audiophile, you need not look any further. The Momentum 4 headphones are undoubtedly the perfect choice for those seeking top-notch audio within this price range. The standout feature of the Momentum 4 headphones lies in their ability to produce a clear and precise sound signature. The mid and high frequencies are beautifully rendered, ensuring that every detail of your music is brought to life. From delicate vocals to intricate guitar solos and grand orchestral arrangements, these headphones excel at reproducing each element with remarkable accuracy and clarity. It's an experience that allows you to truly appreciate the subtle nuances in your favorite tracks. Additionally, the Momentum 4 headphones deserve praise for their consistent audio quality, even at higher volume levels. Unlike many other headphones that tend to distort and lose clarity when pushed to their limits, these headphones maintain their composure. Whether you prefer a more subdued listening experience or enjoy cranking up the volume for a more immersive feel, the Momentum 4 headphones won't disappoint. While these headphones may not satisfy the cravings of bass heads, their bass performance is still noteworthy. The bass is clear, well-defined, and seamlessly integrated into the overall sound profile. It strikes a fine balance that complements the other frequencies without overpowering them. If you appreciate accurate and controlled bass, the Momentum 4 headphones will impress you. In terms of build quality, Sennheiser's attention to detail shines through. The Momentum 4 headphones boast a premium construction using high-quality materials. They feel sturdy and luxurious, promising durability for extended use. The comfortable ear cups provide a secure fit, enhancing passive noise isolation and allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your music without disturbances. One minor area for improvement could be the noise isolation, which could be slightly better. While the headphones do a decent job of blocking out external noise, they may not offer the same level of isolation in particularly noisy environments. However, this is a minor consideration given the overall stellar performance of the headphones. In conclusion, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones are a true delight for audiophiles seeking unparalleled sound quality. With their crisp sound, clear mid and high frequencies, and unwavering performance even at higher volumes, these headphones offer an immersive listening experience that will captivate your senses. While they may not cater to bass enthusiasts, they strike a perfect balance for those who value a well-balanced and accurate sound signature. If you're an audiophile in search of exceptional headphones within this price range, the Momentum 4 is an excellent choice. Indulge in these headphones and prepare to be transported to a realm of sonic bliss.

Overall pleased with the headphones. Sound quality is good and the Sennheiser app allows you to dial that in to your liking. Battery life is excellent. The carrying case is solid. The build quality of the headphones also solid. A couple cons, the headphones have a snug fit which can be irritating on long listening sessions and wish volume could go a bit higher. The noise canceling is not as good as some of the other brands, but it works well enough.

Excellent sound and great battery life. I used them on a transatlantic cruise and then on the plane returning from London. I did not have to recharge them once. I really was surprised by the quality of the sound it was as if I was in a concert hall. No they are not cheap but they are also not made cheap. The quality of the build is at in my opinion professional quality. They are a great product at a fair price.

Out of all of the headphones that I have tried, these have to be my #1 picks. The audio quality is amazing, everything is well balanced, and the sound is very accurate. The frequency response of these headphones are 6Hz-22KHz, It has a noticeable bass boost around 200Hz. The midrange is well balanced and controlled, allowing the vocals and instruments to be clear and precise. The treble is clear and detailed, contributing to an overall sound profile that is both engaging and accurate. The upper mids and highs are close to neutral, providing a natural and lifelike audio reproduction. these headphones maintains a level of neutrality that appeals to audiophiles (as myself) that seek accurate sound reproduction. The app that comes with the headphones allow you to customize a EQ profile and create a custom EQ, and allows you to control the noise cancellation more. 10/10 headphones I would recommend to anyone

These have great sound quality. I ordered these to replace my Bose QC35s, and I have been very happy with them. I did have an issue where the left earphone started having loud static, but I contacted Sennheiser, and they replaced the earphones for me at no charge. I will Definitely use these for a long time and enjoy them.

I have now owned both these and the Sony XM5’s and I can confidently say that the Sennheisers won me over in nearly every category. Specifically I care most about sound quality, which so far sennheiser is best at. The noise cancelling has gotten better with the updates over the years, but it’s still nothing near Sony’s. Otherwise, unless you ONLY care about ANC, get these.

For an average person these are great. Sound quality is excellent, they are comfortable, noise canceling works well with everyday environmental noises. Battery life is very good and can easy last for a week or more with casual listening. I do find it hard to turn them off due to the auto on feature in the app. It frequently turns back on when putting them in the case. Also sometimes doesnt turn on with this feature when needed. Probably best to just disable the auto on setting and enjoy your purchase.

I have never owned an over the head headphones and took a chance on a Sennheiser. Needless to say I did my reasearch and compared this to Boss, Sony and Apple brands. The Momentum model rivals the Sony xm5, Boss quiet comfort ultra. Between these, for the value I chose this one. Longevity will see how durable this last but no regrets so far in terms of connectivity (indoors to my home theater system), comfort/wear and battery life. I would say this was a surprise and quality purchase for me.

these were good, just expected more. sound was great, vocals were clear sound stage was ok, bass was great. these seem to have ANC or passthrough enabled at all times. in the app there is a slider left to right. there is no button or option to turn one on or off just the slider. would have kept them if there was an off button and if sound stage was a bit wider. these are still good but for the price. makes it a hard pill to swallow.

Black Friday “deals” sometimes leads us to making purchases on products we’d otherwise overlook. Being significantly less than the regular price, one may just throw caution to the wind and attempt an insignificant splurge. Well, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Headphones was one of (several) “deals” for me, this price slashing season. I’ll just start by saying, I feel for those that paid for these at full listed price. They really fall short in sound quality. Weak- is a perfect word to describe their performance capabilities. Even when adjusting the EQ in the “My Sound” section of the app, as well as adjusting the audio resolution (as well in the app). Just, poor overall audio. I recently, let’s say a few months back, got me a pair of JBL Tune 235NC TWS earbuds, for about $60 (at BB). At first, they too would have been written off (like these Sennheiser’s are in this review), for underwhelming sound. However, after adjusting the EQ to my liking (in JBL’s app), they boasted a significantly better sound than the default. I would go so far to say, having a richer sound than even my Apple AirPods Pro 2’s- which again, come with a much heftier price tag. The comparison of the two (JBL & Sennheiser) comes down to the fact that being able to adjust the product’s default sound, was a significant changer in its perceived quality, as far as it’s fundamental function of producing sound. It’s laughable that a product like the Momemtum 4 with a price near the $400 (at regular) mark, is compared to, and bested IMO by a product several hundred dollars less at base value. Once a product’s intended function has missed the mark, everything else about it isn’t even worth acknowledging. I mean, these headphones are comfortable, I guess. The controls are relatively simple. I would compare the Momemtum 4, honestly, to Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones. Same build material quality, same price range (at regular), same underwhelming/ disappointing audio quality.
