I'd say they're a little on the quiet side. I came from some old sony's and would only ever have them turned up to a 2. With these I find I turn them up to a 10 or 12. Amazing sound once you configure and update them. The sound cancelling is good but definitely not as good as sony's.

Momentum 'beyond 4'

Tried many closed with noise cancelling. Momentum 4 is the first and only one I've used that really delivers the stage presence and details I enjoy with open backs. For the price, these are worth every dollar, and then some!

Looking for headphones around the 250$ range that are over the head and these were good but i was upset with noise cancel. I was expecting it to be better but for the sound for the music was amazing

I've tried xm4s, beats but returned those since these were so much better. The sound is very vibrant, and has a better soundstage than others. Only issue is the mic - it performs pretty bad in windy conditions.
