Updates have fixed a lot of the inital problems the headphones faced. I'd say they're a little on the quiet side. I came from some old sony's and would only ever have them turned up to a 2. With these I find I turn them up to a 10 or 12. Amazing sound once you configure and update them. The sound cancelling is good but definitely not as good as sony's.

One of the best headphones out there. I've tried xm4s, beats but returned those since these were so much better. The sound is very vibrant, and has a better soundstage than others. Only issue is the mic - it performs pretty bad in windy conditions.

I have been using open back cans for a number of years and have always enjoyed their natural sound. Tried many closed with noise cancelling. Momentum 4 is the first and only one I've used that really delivers the stage presence and details I enjoy with open backs. For the price, these are worth every dollar, and then some!

I purchased Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones in March 2025 from Best Buy. Considering them to be premium headphones, I waited until late May 2025 to open around the time of my birthday. My disappointments have be exponential! First, the ear cups look like mini short-order flat top grills due to all of the grease accumulation on the touch surfaces. The controls are buggy (hit and miss) with swipe controls. The software literally forces one to sign up or it will not work completely (and it still doesn’t even after signing up). For ex: If, I switch from music on my computer to home security on my phone, the headphones will not pick up the sound on my phone. ALL my headphones do that! Even though the headphones are linked to only two devices, they will not pick up the second device when shutting down the first device. Switching between devices is anything but seamless. The touch controls are similar, but in some ways counter intuitive to other headphones on the market. There is enough of a learning curve to where it is annoying. Most Annoying: The volume controls appear to be set to ‘Library.” At 80% they sound less than 50% of my Sony’s and Bose. Also, the EQ has governors it appears. They do not go much beyond the signature settings of the headphones. The sound is full of static every other time I turn them on. One day they are clear, the next day static (in the same spot, in the same environment where I have no problems with connections from any device). The padding on the ear cups sits on my ears but is very comfortable. I find the headphones to be comfortable. Warranty: Joke I emailed Sennheiser customer service with a list of issues concerning these headphones. They promised to get back to me in 48 hours two weeks ago. I've never heard back from them (phone call or email).

The quality of lossless audio from Apple Music, when properly wired with these headphones, is indescribable—you have to experience it to truly appreciate it.

Replaced my JBL 720 headphones after the head piece cracked. For the price, should've replaced the JBL. The touch controls are so sensitive, my hair can push the buttons. Also, the buttons dont always work so i have to find my phone to control the sound again.

Excellent audio quality as expected. Not as great noise cancellation compared to Bose, but audio quality makes up for it.

Good sound quality. Comfortable to wear. Dislike: hear an echo when taking phone calls on occasion.

Great headphones. Only quirck is when using with multiple devices the connection can be somewhat buggy. That's prohably an edge use case though that wont effect most users.

The audio in these headphones is great! However, I found that the touch features are a little too sensitive. Overall, a great buy.

Good sound quality. But connections to multiple device is not as good as Sony WHMx product with no issue with connection nor the app device. Need to reconnect my phone many times because i connected to my laptop. Great Battery life, last longer than i expected to be.
