Fantastic! I compared these with comparable Sony and Bose brands (and prices), and these won out! 60 hours of battery life, deep lows, crisp highs, and the features that are easy to use and understand. The personalized sound feature, in the companion app, lets you customize the sound quality to your preferences, and it offers 6 preset equalizer settings too. I can’t recommend these enough!

Pros: good build materials, well built, very comfortable, nice sound, touch controls are well thought out, clamping force is solid but not uncomfortable. Cons: occasional connectivity issues.

    The Audiophile’s Quiet Luxury

If headphones were fashion, the Momentum 4 would be the cashmere sweater of the audio world—soft, understated, and quietly flexing on the competition. Sound Quality Sennheiser didn’t come to play. These cans deliver a crisp, neutral sound that’s so clean, it could pass a hygiene inspection. Highs sparkle, mids are lush, and the bass? It’s got just enough thump to make your playlist feel like it’s been doing squats. Not too boomy, not too shy—Goldilocks would approve. Noise Cancellation The ANC is solid, though not quite Bose-level sorcery. It’s more “mute the chaos” than “erase reality,” but it adapts smartly to your environment. Great for flights, commutes, or ignoring your neighbor’s reggaeton at 7 a.m. Battery Life 60 hours. Yes, six-zero. That’s two and a half days of uninterrupted listening. You could fly around the world twice, binge every Taylor Swift album, and still have juice left to ignore your inbox. Smart Features The Smart Control app lets you EQ your sound like a DJ with commitment issues. Want more bass? Done. Prefer a flatter response? Easy. It even has “Sound Zones” that adjust settings based on your location—like a sonic butler who knows when you're at the gym or sulking in bed. Design Gone is the vintage aviator chic of the Momentum 3. The Momentum 4 plays it safe with a minimalist look that whispers “I’m expensive” without screaming it. It’s sleek, but some fans miss the old-school swagger. Think: tech bro in a turtleneck instead of a leather jacket. Comfort & Portability Lightweight, plush, and built for marathon listening. The ear cups are like memory foam pillows for your ears. They don’t fold into themselves, but they do swivel flat—perfect for travel or dramatic headphone removal during Zoom calls. Verdict The Sennheiser Momentum 4 is the headphone equivalent of a luxury sedan: smooth, powerful, and built to last. It may not win every category outright, but it’s a top-tier all-rounder with stamina, style, and sonic finesse. If you want premium sound without the drama, this is your ride.

Can’t go wrong with Sennheiser. My older model of the same headphones was great and lasted many years. This pair is definitely a step up. Better sound, longer battery life, and good noise cancelling. Plus they look awesome.

one of the best ones I've got into my hands. Clean, sharp sound, great bass, long battery life, quick charge, beautiful interface on the app. I don't know what more I can say. I tried several on the range of 40mm dirvers. This was the best to me.

Purchased these heaphones on black friday of 2024. Absolutely blown away by how exceptional they are. Battery life is easily a 10/10 far better than competitors. ANC is maybe inferior to other brands but still extremely good, and sound quality is unmatched. In my opinion these are the best bluetooth ANC cans on the market, you will not be disappointed.

I bought these after my Momentum 2s died. They simply sounded so much cleaner and less obnoxiously bassy than the Bose and Sonys. Unfortunately they have the same, and newer, problems as the Momentum 2s. Here's what it's like living with these headphones: You spend 3 days not using them. You want to go for a walk so you pick them up and hold the power button. They turn off. Huh?? Turns out, like always, they've been on for 3 days straight without being connected to any device because no one thought to create an option to have them power down. Oh well, you turn them back on. But oops, you didn't wait long enough so you're just holding the button for 10 seconds while nothing happens. Release and try again; oh hey, now they're in pairing mode instead of on, making this super loud bass-boosted chime. Okay turn them back off. Wait. Hold for 10 seconds and finally they turn on normally. "Connected" says a british woman because a simple chime isn't good enough. The battery life is obscenely good so you're still at 40% battery somehow after them being on all week. "Connected" it says again, connecting to your laptop. You walk out the door, "DISCONNECTED" she says again, interrupting your music. Thanks man, really needed to know that. The ANC is fine, but it suddenly decides that the lowest level should be worse than the second lowest, so you do the pinching motion until you get that level. Oops, you paused by touching the outside when raising your arms to stretch, which you can turn off but don't want to because there's no on-headphone alternative way to do that. Okay, now time to listen to music that sounds a bit duller after a year of ownership (just like the momentum 2's). Does that sound fun? I can tell you, it's not. These things are decent sounding headphones with fine ANC, they are by NO means "high end" and by even fewer means are they worth the absurd asking price, which is $100 higher than when I bought them a year ago. Steer clear, don't buy from Sennheiser and their awful product design team that apparently have no idea what it was like to own headphones that didn't scream at you back in the days of Aux.

I took some time researching headphones and noticed these were not a brand heavily advertised. After further research, I genuinely am glad I jumped to get these. First off, the battery life on these headphones bring more convenience to my listening life. 60hrs of battery life and will give an hour of life after 10 minutes of a charge is phenomenal. Noise cancelling is a good 7/10, but the sound quality is genuinely what makes up for it. Typically I don't use ANC most of the time so it is no bother to me. Only gripe about these headphones is the auto-connect with any light movement of these headphones. Aside from that, these headphones are perfect!

I love these headphones! The sound quality is amazing and they’re comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Noise cancellation is fantastic as is the flexibility to wear with and without NC. I wear them on flights, walking the dog, washing dishes, and working out. I am so pleased I bought these. I bought these after returning the Sony WHCH720N which weren’t nearly as good.

Great/accurate sound, up-to-par noise-cancelling with Bose/Sony's, while some of the features need improvement, E.G. ear-detection was somewhat inconsistent. Too bad it was not loud enough when paired wireless with my iPhone or iPad. To be fair I don't know if that was just the unit I got or a general issue with iPhone/iPad wireless pairing. I really wanted to keep it but couldn't justify to have to maintain a wired connection to my iPhone/iPad to get decent enough volume and fully enjoy the sound quality that these headphones are capable of. I'm waiting a bit, for newer firmware/software updates, before trying again as I am a fan of Sennhesier wired headphones and would like to have the same (or close to) audio quality from a pair of BT headphones, which these were was it not for the volume level issue.

I am disappointed with the Bluetooth connectivity with this headset. The pairing often drops, the connection will disconnect suddenly and the headphones are no longer visible on my device list. This requires a repairing each time. This is happening daily. Also, music pauses when you turn your head, voice prompts will advise “disconnected” yet music still plays. I also don’t like the ear cups can’t fold up, just inward. This makes them bulky and hard to store in a bag or seat back pocket. Headphones don’t auto shut off either, despite being a feature in the connection app. Overall I’m going to return these and stick to my QC Ultras. I bought these to rotate usages believing Steinhauser equates to German quality and it appears that is a misnomer. Sound quality is good, However with unstable connection there is no point.

[Employee of bestbuy] Holy crap!!! I never knew that senheisers were quite as good as they were. Overall the best pair of headphones I’ve ever bought. The HDB650 might exist now. But these are 99% of the quality for 10% of the price. Amazing!!!! And are to this day my favorite headphone ever
