I debated between the Momentum 4, the Sony WH-1000XM4, and Sony WH-1000XM5. I tried out both Sony XM4 and XM5 in the store but wasn't wowed by either. I have an HD-555 that I love but they're broken so figured on top of my Airpod Pros, I wanted I pair of over ear headphones. I was able to get these on sale around Thanksgiving. When I started using them they sounded great but I noticed the volume even at max wasn't that loud. On top of that I could hear my tv while I was testing these out. I borrowed my brothers Sony XM4 and could tell the noise cancelling was significantly better. (I couldn't hear the tv) and the sound was louder without being at max. Since the sound quality wasn't horribly worse, and at over $100 cheaper since its been on sale everywhere I opted to return the Momentum 4 and get the Sony XM4. so disappointed since I love Sennheisers.

These are gorgeous headphone. I love the appearance, fit and sound of these puppies.

They are not good for workingout in. They do poorly with moisture. Sound is top notch and noise cancellation is choice.

I like these but still was looking for a higher bass sound It's there but not where i want it. These headphones are very nice and comfortable. They also mute if you move an ear cup off your head.

Sound quality: amazing. Good bass, nice mid and high range frequencies. Only the ANC is not so good but if you buy these for sound quality, you won't regret

Lightweight, crystal clear sound, Toby bass with a great app. Battery life is amazing, but the ANC is not that great but not bad.

Let me sound quality wise these headphones are boss. Touch controls and hands-free controls are a little iffy that's why 4 stars

They make great sounding headphones. It’s one of the most balanced sound experiences I’ve had with over ear headphones. The only quirks I experienced are the ear detection and phone calls were a bit clunky. Any headphones from this company will sound great and are definitely better than most competing companies.

Absolutely love love them. Easily connected and fits perfectly. Can wear them for hours with no strain or pain

They're one of the best bluetooth headphones out there. The app is great, sound is great and your overall experience is pleasant. Still prefer wired headphones, but when it comes to wireless headphones, these are a great product.

I recommend buying these if your more into sound quality and hear more out of your music experience I recommend if you are getting these for the anc look elsewhere but the sound is fantastic you can even hear the sutle sounds and low notes it best played loud and best for single player video games for those handheld users that play on a legion go or a rog ally or a steam deck too I recommend it for the sound of your video games it feels like i am actually there

Sounds great but the ANC isn’t the best. Feels better than the bose QC Ultra. I personally am not a fan of touch controls and sometimes the on off button holding doesn’t turn it off. Great app tho but physical buttons for the momentum 5 please

Great headphones when caught on a sale. I love the sound quality and overall build of these, but at the normal price I find them to be a bad deal. Pairing them with AptX Adaptive is a must for the best sound quality.

Great pair of headphones!! I usually go with Bose QCs but decided to try something different. The audio, fit and finish is outstanding!!

Great headphones! Sound quality is excellent and battery life is exceptional. I highly recommend.

The headphones have great noise cancellation and can also have great sound (if you adjust the equalizer). However, the headphone software is very flakey. Connections come and go and the operation of the software keeps changing without user input. I set the ANC at full, touch controls off and adjust the EQ. Using the headphones through the hours I find that touch controls are re-enabled randomly, ANC varies and connections are dropped - frequently. Perhaps I got a dud, but looking at the other reviews I find that these headphones have had problems for quite a while. You would have thought that Sennheiser would get their act together by now. I will be swapping these out for another and see how that goes.

Excellent earphones! The quality is significantly better than some other high end, and more expensive, earphones. The noise cancelling is crazy good. Even songs are so much cleaner, I can hear every single word. The app is easy to use too. Worth the money!
