Exceptional for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned or tested several mid to premium Bluetooth headphones including B&W PX 7S2e, Sony XM5, B&W PX8, Bose QC ultra, and Focal Bathys. Not an audiophile, but have a trained ear. I use EQ. While Bose QC Ultra and Sony XM5 blows the rest out of the park in Noise Cancellation and comfort, imo they are not in the same league as B&W PX 7S2e, B&W PX8, and Focal Bathys in terms Sound Quality (it's very subjective). While, PX7 S2e and PX8 has exceptional separation, soundstage, clarity, and build quality, Momentum 4 comes close in all of those aspects. Momentum 4 is more fun to watch movies and general usage. Decent clamping force. I have a large head and clamping force is an important factor. Top 3 for music: 1. Focal Bathys 2. B&W PX7 S2e (with wired connection. Bluetooth is also pretty good) 3. B&W PX8 Top 3 for watching movies and general usage (comfort) 1. Momentum 4 2. B&W PX8 3. Focal Bathys and B&W PX7 S2e (with wired connection. Bluetooth is also pretty good) Most of the time I keep going back to Momentum 4 at the moment unless I want to listen to music in peace.

Good flagship rivals for less money
|Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all. Out of the box the headphones are beautiful. They look good, they feel good as far build wuality goes. More metal that plastic unlike a lot of ither headphones. My main issue with these headphones is the app, and touch controls. The all is pretty basic, althought easy to navigate. I think the sound personalization option is very lame and limited. It doesnt let you use it and listen to your own music like sonys does, instead you have to listen to some crappy generic sounding pre made song that the app plays. Also you can’t listen to high rez and use sound personalization. Youre forced to stick with a five band eq. Noise cancelation is pretty sub par but they do handle wind sound better than abything else youll find at this price point. Batterly life is off the charts though. I used them for two weeks and didnt have to charge them once. The other thing is these headphones touch controls only worked half the time, and sometimes it didnt even realize the headphones were in my head. So that was pretty lame. Another thing is the headband has like a mm of foam before you just have plastic resting on your head, and the clamp force of these guys is irritatingly strong. Over all not super comfortable.

Best headphones ever!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a pair of Beats Studio headphones that were very uncomfortable and could not wear for long periods of time without my ears hurting. Returned them and got a pair of these and the sound quality is like no other. Super comfortable and noise cancellation is most excellent. Battery life is the best out of any headphones I’ve had. Can go for a week using them daily and still have 40% battery left. Def worth the money. With Sennheiser, you know you’re getting maximum quality. Highly recommend!

Great sound, disappointing features
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let start by saying the sound is excellent, so for their primary purpose these fit the bill. What drops this to 3 stars for me are all the features that take away from the experience instead of making these more pleasant to use. Pros: excellent sound quality, battery life, good app support, comfortable, included case and cables Cons: sub-par noise cancelation, auto off, auto pause, touch controls The pros are pretty self-explanatory, these headphones are very good as an audio sound device however the features are poorly executed. The auto off takes forever to activate and it doesn't recognize putting them in the case so you need to manually disconnect (making you also need to manually reconnect). The auto pause when you take them off would be a great feature but it only works with the right ear cup and is overly sensitive on top of it. I couldn't count the times I scratched my ear or slightly adjusted the fit and had what I was listening to pause. The controls are all capacitive and on the right ear cup only, except for the disconnect/power button, and are pretty annoying to use in my opinion. I'd rather have a slider or buttons on the side of the cup instead of the whole side of the cup being a touch surface (which can and does get hit when using these while laying down). Now while these cons may sound minor, the sheer frequency with which these annoyances occur makes these headphones frustrating to use at times. A fan could excuse them as "quircks" but for how expensive these headphones are this many "quirks" should not exist. If I could go back in time, I would shell out the extra money for the Sony headphones. Do I regret this purchase? Not fully, they are good headphones overall with high fidelity and great battery life, but they wouldn't be my first recommendation. They are noticeably better soundwise than my old skullcandy headphones, but at over twice the price they had better be.

Everything I want in ANC over ear headphones
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have zero wishlist items for these headphones. Excellent sound that isltrue to studio recordings. Comfort for long listening sessions. Ease of use is phenomenal. Seems like a top of class flagship ANC set. My wife has Bose Quiet Comfort and they're really nice. A coworker of mine has the Sony WH1000. I've also listened to the Beats Studio3. So I have an idea of what's out there. Sound This is the best wireless sound I've ever heard. As Sennheiser usually does, by default they keep the audio as the engineers created it during production. You can change it with the equalizer in the Smart Control app. I don't usually modify the sound that way with Sennheiser products. All the buzzwords critics use are valid here - "spacious soundstage" comes to mind for sure. The high/mid/low are all present and no aspect of the sound is overemphasized. This is a set of headphones that has me revisiting my favorites to see how they sound with a better set of cans. Comfort I have big ears and can't tolerate long listening sessions with many headphones. The pads on the Momentum 4 don't completely surround my ears. But the pressure isn't bothersome and it seals out external sounds well. The faux leather is pleasant, not at all like cheap headphone pads. I'm glad to have long listening sessions without any discomfort at all. Connectivity/Ease of Use The use flow is designed perfectly. I could describe everything but it's all in the product info and I can attest these headphones live up to the promo material. Once you set these up and pair with your devices there's almost nothing you need to think about. You put them on and listen to them. Adjust most anything you'd want to adjust with the touch sensors. Just really well thought out. I can't think of anything else I'd ask for from a user convenience perspective. Thank you, Sennheiser. The Momentum 4 headphones remind me why I'm brand loyal.

Quality Headphones
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these headphones. The build quality and presentation lets you know that it's quality. You can download the sound plus app and customize a sound profile to your hearing. Battery life is phenomenal! The only downside is that the ANC is not that great. You can still hear background noise with it on.

Excellent noise cancelling headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(Full Disclosure: I got my headphones on sale + through the “open box” program. If you havent explored tech in the “excellent” condition through Best Buy, I recommend you check it out) The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are absolutely outstanding! They integrate seamlessly with my Apple devices, making switching between them effortless. While the app is handy for fine-tuning, I don’t find myself needing it often because they perform so well out of the box. The touch controls on the headphones are responsive and intuitive, though it takes a moment to memorize all the gestures. The sound quality is superb—easily the best I’ve experienced in wireless headphones. They’re also incredibly comfortable, even for long sessions, with ear cups that fit my larger ears perfectly. Transparency mode is excellent for staying aware of my surroundings, and the headphones work great for calls too. I primarily use them for music and staying focused, and they never disappoint. Highly recommend these for anyone looking for premium wireless headphones!

Clear and spacious sound with deep bass and high-q

Almost Perfect, Buggy Bluetooth
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the sound quality and battery life on these. They're super comfortable to wear for several hours even with glasses. My main issue is that the bluetooth is really buggy for no apparent reason. They often randomly disconnect from my iPhone and I have to manually turn them off and on again. I've tried different combinations of in-app settings around on-head detection and smart play/pause, but I keep having issues which is annoying because I love the sound and level of control. This is apparently a common issue, and the main solution appears to be to update the firmware which I have.

Superior sound and ANC to Bose QC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had Bose noise cancelling headphones for several years and have always really liked their sound except I and many others would say Bose lacks bass quality. Keep in mind I don't really like super strong thumping bass but seek a rich fullness and balance in sound. I have a pair of wired HD560 Senheiser headphones and decided to give this wireless model a try for my trip to Europe. What a difference these have made! The sound quality is absolutely amazing with full quality that matches what i was expecting from Senheiser. Normally, i feel like Bluetooth doesn't capture the same quality as a good set of wired headphones do, but these have been terrific. I was also really pleased to find that the noise cancelling was even better than my Bose, I could barely hear anything around me on the plane which made the 8 hour flight fly by. I'm happy that these have less of the ear-popping feeling you get from noise cancelling technology. Additionally, these have amazing battery. I charged then before flew to Europe, listened on the plane, on several trains, and back home and the battery was still over 50% from the initial charge. I also really like the smart controls, they are easy to use and intuitive, they even pause automatically when you lift one ear cup off your head which is nice when you want to hear a flight announcement or something. They do have a passive noise cancelling mode but you can't really hear people talking to you in that mode so the lift to pause is a nice feature. They come with a great carrying case that you don't have to worry about them getting crushed in your bag or anything. Overall, I love these headphones and an officially converted to a Senheiser fan after many years of loving Bose. Give them a try, they are worth the price even without being on sale.

Great headphones but lots of connectivity issues
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Writing this review after using it for over 6 months. Pros sound quality is excellent and battery life is what they claim to be. I use this headphone everyday for almost 8-9 hours and still it functions without charging them. Very comfortable to wear for hours. Cons Lots of connectivity issues. Auto off feature seems to disconnect with the device and I always have to start over every time I take them off which is very annoying.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not an audiophile but coming from a pair of Skullcandy Hesh 2s, this is a different realm in sound. Crystal clear sound which you can modify to your taste. Great for all genres of music which is right up my alley. 60 hours of battery life is incredible!! Extremely happy with this purchase. No problems connecting to Bluetooth whether it's my S24 or IPhone 16.

Momentum 4 Honest Review
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice sound quality. Noise canceling on them is great. I do like how you can adjust the amount of noise while wearing the headphones. I would like for future headphones to have easier touch controls and maybe have some kind of buttons on the headphones to make it easier to do whatever you need to do (increasing/decreasing volume, no noise cancelation, etc). Battery is amazing on them as well. Overall, I would highly recommend these headphones to someone who wants great sound quality and all day comfort.

Definitely worth considering over the XM5s
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Audio quality is great, 60 hours of battery life means I only have to charge it once a week even with 6+ hours of use a day, ANC is decent, and I've had no issues with the auto pause feature. Only complaints are that the touch controls are very sensitive, if any part of your hand touches it for any reason, it'll consider it a tap. As a result, I have to be pretty conscious of how I put them on my head to avoid touching the touch area with my palms. My ears can get pretty warm after a while of wearing them, but I don't know if that just a normal thing for closed face headphones as prior to these I mainly used wired open face headphones.
