At first glance, these headphones looked like they came out of Milan, Italy or perhaps a Ferrari. The smoothness of the headphones made my listening experience more relaxing. I really liked how they were noise canceling. The fitment was also good in which the headphones do not looks goofy on your head. Overall, this was a great buy and they are great to take to the gym. They block out all the other gym-goers.

The Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear headphones are a great value! I was able to catch them at half-price for a promotion and have really enjoyed them. I love the Alcantara suede headband and brushed aluminum/ivory color ear pad design. They have great clear sound with good bass response. These earphones represent a great style mixed with terrific sound. I also have a Bose on-ear headphone set and the Sennheiser sound just as good but with better styling. Love the suede headband. If you are looking for a great earphone without sending over 250 dollars these are the ones to get. Lastly they work well with Ipad/Ipod/Iphone and have the in-line Mic functionality. Enjoy your music in style!

This is a great headset to enjoy your music, very high quality

AWESOME headphones for constant, everyday use! I have my headphones on typically between four or eight hours a day OR LONGER and these are holding up great. The padding is super-comfortable and doesn't make my ears overheat, and the built-in microphone lets me use it with my cell phone without any issues!

Bought this for my dad on father's day. It's an excellent neutral sounding headphone (to my ears at least and compared to the usual warm sound of Sennheisers in this price range). It's a great looking headphone too. I enjoyed it so much that I'm debating purchasing one for myself.

Good sound stage for on-ears, but mids kind of hide behind the strongish bass. Bass isn't overpowering, but can still has a negative effect on the overall sound. Bleeding both ways occurs, but this is more of an issue with on-ear headphones than with this particular set.

Bought for my son. He had previous headphones which he said were better, but sales associate told him these were better. My son was a little disappointed in the sound quality compared to previous brand.

I have the HD650 so besides less clarity and sound stage this is pretty good. Only minus would be the small cups. It goes on-ear and if you wears glasses it tend to get uncomfortable fairly easily.

The sound clarity is incredible. You must listen to experience the difference between these and others in this price point.

I sometimes kid myself and try to pretend that I'm an audiophile. While I may not truly be a hard-core audiophile, I do know excellent sound when I hear it. These on-ear Momentum's provide superb, well-balanced audio. Bass is tight but not exaggerated, highs are crystal clear but not harsh, and midrange isn't overwhelmed by either. Absolute heaven when these are on. I would say they compare favorable against the Bower & Wilkins P5's (which I have). Presentation is excellent, and not only do they come when will a beautiful case, but they also include a drawstring soft case as well. I can't recommend these enough! Try them and I'm truly convinced you will love them.

In today's world, "Beats" reigns supreme among consumers, but I heard all too often that the actual sound quality of Beats headphones was not considered favorable by audiophiles. Just a little background - I am a huge sound enthusiast, but not a self proclaimed audiophile. I've played music most of my life and my ears are at least sensitive to the vast spectrum of qualities that music is available in. I also commute every day by train, and it's safe to say I spend a LOT of time with my headphones and music. That being said, I always opted for ear buds, but after reading reviews, Sennheiser seemed to get a lot of favorable ratings. I am completely familiar with the different Beats options as my wife has the solo HDs and I even won a pair of the iBeats ear buds in a raffle. For this price range I decided to give Sennheiser a shot and see for myself. If you are into packaging, the actual packaging has a very premium feel! I felt like it was Christmas morning as I got it open. The carrying case it comes with is sturdy (an important thing for me as I commute every day) and when I held the headphones for the first time it all just felt solidly built and strong. I put them on, plugged them in, and thoroughly enjoyed the quality right off the bat. Compared to my experience with Beats, there was a lot more clarity and crispness to the sound. I even was able to flatten out the EQ on my iPhone and it completely hit the sweet spot! The included iPhone/iPod/iPad music controls were nicely integrated and easy to operate without even looking - a HUGE plus. After listening to music for an hour or so, the first limitation presented itself to me. I took the headphones off and realized the band that goes around the head left a pretty defined indentation on the top of my head! Now to be exact, I shave my head so I have no hair. Even though the fit didn't hurt, it was snug, and the design of the padding wreaked havoc on my bald head! I decided to stick with it, since I loved the quality, and gave it daily use for a week before I analyzed it again. What I found was I tried almost every angle and length to not leave the indentations of the padding! The thing that sort of pushed me to return the item was when I realized that the volumes I listen to music at were completely audible by people around me. In an office and on a train, I couldn't have that, so I decided these were not the best fit for my needs. I still would recommend this product for anyone that wanted to try over the ear headphones. The quality will not disappoint, just hopefully your head is not as susceptible to the fit as mine was!

I purchased these as a gift for my brother in law as a birthday gift. He took them to his language school in Japan and they broke right away. I called best buy and they basically said "there is nothing they can do for me." I would buy a different set next time.

I've been in the market for some higher quality headphones for some time. I prefer lightweight, smaller cans, but want a full sound. These headphones have been just the ticket. Sound reproduction is full and clean, and not overly bass filled as some of the trendy brands. I wear these frequently for listening to music while working, but have also tried them with games. I've heard aspects of game music that I never heard before. Additionally, they come with two cords, one a straight cord, the other wtih an inline microphone. When I've used them for calls, people say I sound a lot clearer than with my standard Apple earbuds. Finally, they seem to be extremely durable. The band is metal with a leather cushion. They come with both a carrying sack and a larger protective case. I'm very pleased with these headphones and would easily recomend them.
