I use this Sennheiser wireless headphone when watching TV with my wife and others. My hearing has declined to such a degree that without the headphones I have to increase the volume so much that others with normal hearing object to the volume level. These headphones provide me with a volume level that allows me to hear the program without annoying others.

A very useful Christmas present. Great sound, great adjustable volume, and 3 seperate setting for sounds.

This is the 2nd headset we have had. They are wonderful. Especially for the hearing impaired. Great for late nights as one can enjoy whatever without others disturbed. Highly recommend!

Very happy as i would watch a movie on tv and not be able to hear. I would basically figure the program out by watching the action and hearing very little. I am thrilled i can now hear everything and again enjoying what i am watching.

It works good although the headphones do get a little warm on my ears. Also, the top is a challenge to adjust for comfort when leaning back in recliner.

The only problem I encountered with this item was the optical cable that came with it didn't work with my Sharp television optical cable audio output socket. It plugged in just fine but not audio signal was emitted. Maybe this problem was simply with my tv and not the supplied cable or the headphone base set. In any case, I had to order an analog audio splitter with a pair of RCA plugs. I attached this splitter to the alternate, supplied cable and it worked just fine. I really like the headphones. Good fidelity and volume. I have a similar set up with a pair of SONY wireless headphones attached to a SAMSUNG flat screen in my vacation home. I can't tell any difference between the two systems and they cost about the same.

Buy it when it's $199.99 or cheaper. It's well worth the wait, which is what exactly I did. I haven't tried the 195 and I don't think I'll get that model any time soon either. As someone who has a very small bedroom and can't have a full surround sound system setup, this headset is the perfect alternative and extremely pleasant when watching movies. Only downside is that I can't comfortably wear them with my glasses after a long period of time. I always find myself fixating my glasses till it's comfortable to wear. It comes off as irritating at times but this headset is still superior its own ways.

I replaced some older Sennheiser headphones. We didn’t NEED replacements, but I wanted the best thing that’s out there in terms of headphones. I don’t have any hearings problems so my search stopped here. And they are FANTASTIC. The only problem with them, that didn’t seem to happen with my old ones, is that they will drop sound if I have a device on the 2.4GHz WiFi network. It’s kind of a bummer, but moving everything to 5 GHz largely fixes the issue.

Best headphones comfortable fit and best for television

I just love how crystal clear everything is when wearing the headphones. It makes a huge difference in watching tv.

6 years ago I purchased an earlier model which finally died on me-repair cost alternative justified purchasing the newer model. The new set has much better charge and on indicators as well as better volume controls. Earpieces are better fitting and range is substantially improved: whereas the earlier set lost contact if a wall intervened the new headset receives loud and clear in another room- such as when you are ordered to do the dishes by the boss after a great dinner. Very satisfied with the new purchase.

Very pleased with this setup. I have other Sennheiser products and they never disappoint. The RF connectivity is much more stable than Bluetooth. Sound quality lives up to the Sennheiser brand.

Although a little on the pricey side, I think it's a good set. It did take me a couple of days to figure it out, but once I did it works great. Hopefully it will last longer than my old TV headset, which only lasted a couple of years before one ear piece was not working as well anymore. I can't really comment on the battery life, since I only use it for a couple of hours at night.

All is good except distance you can be from the TV. The range is disappointing. You can only be a very few feet from it or you get no sound.

I bought these as a replacement for the Sennheiser RS-180, which I had for 7 years and paid $300 for. They still worked great but I was in the mood for something else. It was a great decision. These outclass the RS-180 by a mile, and they are under $200!!! And they are aesthcitcally profound. They do not look cheap at all and there is greater control over the surround sound and bass effects. Run, do not walk, to buy these and you will be very pleased. There is no need to buy the $400 model at all.

The sound quality combined with a comfortable snug fit and quick change output options have made these headphones my new favorite pair..

These headphones are very comfortable for 2-3 hours. After that they get warm and feel a little heavy. Aside from that they work well with good sound. Setup was easy except the instructions don't say you have to hold the On button down for several seconds before they turn on. The other negative is that the control buttons on the headset are hard to find when the headphones are on your head.
