Sennheiser has forgotten how to make headphones

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Between this past August and today I have purchased 3 Sennheiser headphone units for use in wireless TV viewing – 2 RS 195 units from Amazon and 1 RS 175 unit from Best Buy. All exhibit an identical design flaw: the contact charging plate in the headphone band will not connect with the contact charging plate in the base unit when set in its cradle. The headphones cannot be charged and so cannot be used. When I spoke to a representative at Sennheiser customer support describing the problem, he claimed to have heard of no other customers experiencing this issue. Yet I have received 3 different sets from 2 different vendors over the course of several months, all unusable because none can be charged to power up. Incredible.

Awesome headphones

Our living room tv is against the wall to my bedroom and of coarse we have a big a@$ tv that sounds awesome and the sound go’s right through the wall. So these headphones are perfect. He uses them every night, he just loves them. Great sound.

Over the ear wireless headphones

My older set still works fine and was transferred to the TV in the playroom and the new one on the main TV in the living room. I have an open concept home and this works great when viewing two different movies and not disturbing each other. I also have a second headphone set for each location.

Approved for hearing aids!

She’s been using the Sony one which I’ve purchased over 3 years ago. This is a huge improvement over the Sony. She’s able to hear without the static. She tells me it feels like she’s at the theater (she keeps pushing the surround sound button). Little pricey but it’s worth it.

Great product for old folks with hearing issues.

I can use my headphones and get the clarity I need while the volume on unit is comfortable for everyone else. Without these, TV viewing would not be satisfactory at all.
