but power switch on ear piece too difficult to operate and unreliable

This wireless headset is a must have. The instructions on how to use are lacking though. Found some forums online that helped. Once I understood operating instructions, they are fine. Superb listening and will tune out all those external bothersome sounds.

Great headphones, I will definitely be purchasing another pair

Between this past August and today I have purchased 3 Sennheiser headphone units for use in wireless TV viewing – 2 RS 195 units from Amazon and 1 RS 175 unit from Best Buy. All exhibit an identical design flaw: the contact charging plate in the headphone band will not connect with the contact charging plate in the base unit when set in its cradle. The headphones cannot be charged and so cannot be used. When I spoke to a representative at Sennheiser customer support describing the problem, he claimed to have heard of no other customers experiencing this issue. Yet I have received 3 different sets from 2 different vendors over the course of several months, all unusable because none can be charged to power up. Incredible.

I am very happy with these headphones. I am hard of hearing, the reason I bought them so I can watch tv with out blasting my wife out of the room, and these headphones give me great sound and makes it easy to understand what is being said.

At this time I can only say the headsets were delivered as promised. I will revise this review once I try them out. These are replacing my old Sennheiser RS 130s. I had them for about 13 years and loved them and the reason why I purchased these new ones.

I bought these headphones so I could practice on my electric guitar without wires and without disturbing the peace at home. The sound quality is very good and I can now wander around the house while playing. The reception is perfect even through several walls.

Bought for my husband because he has hearing problems. These are fabulous and work great for him! He can even walk into the kitchen and still hear the TV perfectly. Sound quality is great--he can hear with no problems.

I had been looking for a good pair of wireless headphones to capture the surround sound from my TV. I tried other brands which were ok, but the RS175 are fantastic. The design lets you experience surround sound the way it was meant to be heard.

The Sennheiser wireless headphone is SUPERB. As I continue maturing, I was having trouble hearing TV programs. I did not like listening to LOUD audio. The headphone's sound is wonderful. They are worth the expense. I am very appreciative.

I already have this headset system and after seeing this for a great sale price I bought another one for my other tv. Excellent sound & is wireless! Great to be able to watch & listen to late night tv & not disturb my little wifey! Both satisfied!

I am hard-of-hearing, so I need to pump up the volume of the TV to have any chance of understanding the dialogue. The headphones have plenty of volume and range for me. Although I haven't tried all the settings, I am pleased with these headphones.

These are simply the best set of headphones I've ever tried. Totally worth the extra money. Very high quality and the wireless feature is just great. It enables me to listen to movies when my family is asleep and everyone is happy. :)
