Only a few minor complaints! But these beat Sony!

I returned two pair of the Sony WHRF400 RF Wireless Headphones because they sounded like blown speakers. The second pair even had tons of static, and it was just across the bedroom from the output. I returned the second pair to the store and asked the person on the floor for help. I was going to go with the other Sony's that were twice the cost because of the "digital" output of these. The salesperson said that the 'static/blown' experience I had with the Sony pair was probably the analog connection. So I got these thinking I would be able to hook them up digitally. However, our sound bar is hooked up digitally and hooking up the headphones that way would have made it where I was the only one who could watch TV with sound.
The sales person was so wrong. I hooked these up to the analog output, just like I was hooking up the Sony set and I cannot even express to you the improvement in sound quality these offer compared to Sony. I was seriously impressed. The only thing that I don't like with these is the buttons. They're difficult to turn on (you have to hold it down for a few seconds before it comes on) and you have to KNOW the layout of the volume buttons to turn them up or down. I do like that they have Bass adjustments, though, even if I have to take them off or go to the stand to figure it all out. The only other thing I don't like is that they're super tight. I suspect (hope) they'll loosen up over time because I really enjoy the quality of the surround sound that they offer.

I have tested few with my samsung tv, bose is the worst, bets is ok, this one is awesome, if you need crystal clear controlled sound, then this is the number one choice, only cn is the price, one thing about sennheiser, price never goes down, but again you get what you pay for, another good add in is the optical

I always wanted to get a wireless Sennheiser but which one? I opted to get this particular model because it had the best reviews. It's lightweight and easy to install. The sound quality is super clear. It's worth every penny.

Best wireless headphones I've ever purchased

I got these headphones after having had it with the Sony wireless set I had been using. That set was plagued with interference problems that seemed to develop recently, even though nothing else in my setup of nearby devices had changed. After several days of attempting to solve the problem I decided to go for a higher-end solution.
Sennheiser has a great reputation, and these phones live up to it. I plugged them into the optical audio output on my tv and after allowing them to fully charge overnight I tried them out. The sound was amazing! Great control over things like bass and surround sound, and not even a whisper of interference, even when I walk out of the room where the transmitter is located. My only regret is that I didn't buy these headphones sooner!

High Dollar Remote TV Listening

I've several pairs of Rf remote TV headphones. They generally were the Sony variety. I particularly didn't like the last ones I purchased due to an awkward fit. This time I decided to buy a more expensive and I hope a more functional pair made by Sennheiser. These headphones are great. The fit is spectacular owing to the large ear pads. The sound is truly superior to the Sony version giving great bass tones and easy to understand dialog. Spend the difference. The only issue I have is I asked for some Tech Support via email, but I could never get a response.

The Seheisser 175 headphones are the best. Light in weight, easy to hook-up, high quality, and excellent fidelity.....these are the best. I purchased them on Amazon for $175.00 and couldn't be happier. I'm a bit hearing impaired and can now hear every word in every movie that I watch while my wife doesn't get blasted out of the room. Volume is independent of the TV or entertainment system volume. There are controls for increased bass and surround sound if you prefer. Truly a great purchase at a great price. Base station recharges the batteries in the headphones. Comfortable to wear also. You won't be disappointed!

I bought these for my father as his hearing isn't what it used to be. We used to have to leave the room when he was watching TV because the TV had to be so loud for him to hear it. I can happily say the house is quiet again and we can all watch TV together. He loves the way these sound, they are comfortable and have a great charging stand to keep them save and always ready to be used.

I bought these headphones because it had an optical cable plug. I needed it because my TV only had the digital audio out plug. I was hesitant at buying these because of the price, but I took the plunge. I was amazed at how easy it was to hook it up to my TV. I plugged in the power cored, then plugged in the optical cable, put the batteries in the headphones and I was ready to go. What an awesome sound, I love the bass and and the surround sound is unbelievable. I strongly recommend these headphones, you won't be disappointed.

I have been using HDR 170 model for years. The charging stand has not been working for a couple of years and I was tired of changing the batteries. I still use the old model when I am going to be sweaty when working out. The new model has more bells and whistles when managing the sound. I really like it.

I had a different pair of cordless Sennheiser headphones when I lived in California. I left them there, so I replaced them with this pair and I love them.

This is the second TV headset I purchased. It has the best sound quality I have heard to date. This is critical as I use the headset to listen to shows while my wife sleeps.

Easy to set up on TV or soundbar but need to get a splitter to connect. Ear pads are comfortable on ears but controls on ear pads are a little difficult for my 91-year-old mother to operate. Sound keeps cutting out and have to move the stand around to find place where the sound does not work intermittently. May need to get a longer connecting wire from the TV to the stand to find a place where the sound is not always cutting in and out. Once you find that place, the headphones work great.

bought for my wife so we could listen to different programs in peace, but sound quality is much better than i could have ever hoped. Plus i get decent range out of them and they are light, so all day wearing isnt an issue

Very comfortable and the audio is very good. I use these with my HAM radio setup when I’m working CW (Morse Code) and the noise cancelling is exceptional for when I’m trying to hear a weak signal. Highly recommend this set of earphones!

Works great on our LG smart tv.
Wife works graveyard now I can watch my shows without disturbing her during the day
When we’re watching together I can wear them so I get the volume I want without blasting her out of the room

I like the headphones, they are very comfortable. However,I find very often the sound cuts in and out. Easy system to install all in all a good product.
