So when I bought this it worked fine. The shredder is actually a little on the heavier side so I would advocate checking it out in the store if possible. It's also a little loud so that can present some challenges if you share space or your home office is in an open area. For an extra few dollars you can get more streamlined, lighter, and quieter products.

It's a good machine. Not quite what I hoped for in that it's not as finished as the product I'm replacing. The bin has rough edges, and no wheels (or even places to attach wheels). But it works well, and fits in the "shredder spot" better than the old one.

Machine works well and is easy to use. At its price point this is a very good shredder.

I love how small the pieces. A little on the noisy side.

Haven't had this shredder for very long but had an excess of papers to shred since my last shredder finally died on me. I was surprised at how heavy the unit was and even more surprised at how well it out shreds. For the price this unit is well worth it.

It’s a great shredder. I replaced with a very old shredder that was very noisier and took 2-3 sheets at a time. So this is a real upheave. It’s quiet and we shred about five pages at a time. Love it. Would recommend it.

For a year, this shredder worked great, turning big pieces of paper into tiny pieces of paper. The easy to empty bin made it a breeze to dump into the trash. But after a year, the power no longer illuminates. It no longer happily eats old credit cards and financial statements. It didn't even die while be used. It just...stopped working one day. Like a candle that has stopped flickering. It's purpose having been completed. It was a fine tool while it lasted. I do not know what caused it's untimely demise.

Excellent shredder, perfect for disposal of sensitive documents and credit cards. I would definitely recommend this product.

The shredder is pretty loud and noisy. It was great at first, but now its (only had it since June 2020) froze and won't shred. I thought by letting it cool down it would start up again after some time. It's been 2 days and still won't shred. Hopefully I can return it and exchange it for another brand.

Works well! A bit noisy, though! And for those who are sensitive to new items "smell", this was no smell! So that was a big feature!

My old shredder was somehow stopped working and so have purchased this onee. used it once and no problem so far.

Have had this shredder for about 1 month and worked it pretty hard. No problems, hasn't jammed when shredding multiple sheets of paper - but we haven't tried to put more than 5 or 6 sheets at a time through it. The motor head gets warm after an hour of work, but not hot. Still, advise giving the machine a break if the head is getting very warm. Basket is easy to remove for emptying, Shredded paper is very small, crisp, star-shaped "beads" - doesn't fly around when emptying the basked. Overall, a good buy.

I needed a shredder cause I had hundreds of legal documents and information that I needed to destroy rather than just toss it in the recycle bin. The model that I chose just fits for the purpose.

Shredder seems to do the job. Had no issues shredding multiple pages with staples.

Loud, but it definitely works. No complaints thus far.
