How the producers managed to get Jeff Bridges & Julianne Moore to be in what is really just your average sword and sorcery film is a mystery, but it's an enjoyable enough popcorn movie. Jeff Bridges adds a lot to the goings on. It's fun when he's on screen.

I love period movies and medieval stuff. I love witches too, so you'd think this would be really great. Can't go wrong with Moore either, but a lot of loose ends and "whoa dudes". Just wished the main character was played by Kit, and he didn't get killed right away!
