Marvel’s first Asian superhero has finally comes in this action spectacular with dynamite CGI effects along with awesome martial arts choreography. Truly a story for the ages where the titled character Shang-Chi has to confront his father to stop his evil doings throughout his life. A definite must see for marvel fans as well as martial arts fans.

this was a great Marvel movie it's cool that they gave credit to an Asian based cast which was over due and they killed it. its like what Black Panther did for there culture this did for Asian culture. Fight scenes where amazing, this is a must watch definitely one if the better Marvel movies in a while

Another excellent Marvel origin movie. I had seen this on Disney+ and wanted to add it to my collection. Story was very good. I especially liked the dragon saving the day at the end. Also the cameos from Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel in the closing credits. Video and audio are excellent.

I enjoyed watching this movie and thought it did a great job introducing a new character in the MCU. The martial arts and action scenes were good as well as the special effects and music/score. Hope to see more of the characters from this movie in future MCU movies.

Saw this movie with no expectations. Reminded me of old school Saturday afternoon karate flicks. Of course I'm a hugh Hong Kong action films so I had to see the legends Tony Leung and Michelle Yeoh. They bring charisma and they command the screen with their presence. The movie looks great in 4K. The SteelBook is a nice addition.

I loved this movie! Saw it in the theatre first. Had to have it for home. I’m a huge Marvel fan and always see the films in theaters first if possible. This one landed in my top 5 list. New characters to the MCU, some known. Great action scenes, and humor. It’s up there with Thor; Ragnarok for enjoyment.

I saw this film in the theater and liked it but didn’t love it. I liked it much more at home in a second viewing. The end is as usual a cgi fest but the characters are well developed. UHD is bright and colorful when it needs to be. Sound is pretty good for Disney discs which are known for mixing the sound lower than usual.

Entertaining and just an enjoyable movie to take you away from these dreary days. Lots of action and fun to watch exciting kung-fu type fighting sequences. Simu Liu was ok as an unknown in a star role but I always enjoy movies with Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina. Good story and lots of action!

The product is great. Picture quality, sounds, and extra are excellent. I like the movie. My favorite part is the bus fight sequence. I recommend this movie only if you're a diehard Marvel Studios/Marvel Cinematic Universe fan; otherwise, you may want to skip this purchase.

Loaded with great fight scenes, the usual snappy dialogue, an engaging villain, clever callbacks to earlier entries, and a terrific return for a fan favorite character, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a fun new corner of the MCU that is certain to delight fans of all ages.

After years of waiting we finally get a brand new hero to add to the MCU and the first ever Asian avenger. Despite being a lesser known marvel character much like Star Lord and the Eternals, Shang-Chi shines alongside co-star Awkwafina in this thrilling supernatural legend. Can't wait to see more of the two in the future.

Shang Chi was a very surprisingly good film to my surprise I didn't expect it to be bad or anything like that but it was significantly better than I expected. Bought the steelbook cause I have all the Marvel movie steelbooks. Steelbook looks good not the best Marvel steelbook but certainly not the worst either.

This is one of Marvel's best origin films. Simu Liu is perfectly cast as Shang-Chi and has a bright future in front of him. Besides that, there's a great cast, good action, a solid, emotional story, and some really solid/beautiful visuals.

Having recently seen Spiderman No Way Home and was rather let down by that film, being more of a fanboy pleaser while exploiting a weak storyline that was enabled through the "multiverse" concept. This film took a different approach as I don't think I've seen a real "origins" film yet. Shang-Chi does what was needed, filling in the background of the main character in easy to process chunks at the right times, fleshing out why things are happening and other key plot points. Lots of typical plot devices are used, such as antagonist salvation, hero acceptance and others all to escalate into a CGI monster battle. Call me jaded, but I found the film very predictable as it followed other "zero to hero" formulas, just adding more backstory because "it's important" this time around. It wasn't a bad film by any stretch, it was just simply one I just couldn't buy into that well. I think I'm just not into the super-hero genre. I think that's why I like Guardians of the Galaxy as they aren't really heroes, they are just a bunch of a-holes trying to rise above their a-holery to elevate themselves to "a-holes with a better cause", not "just cause we're a-holes". Make your own decisions, but based on my experiences with Marvel, that big Marvel package that encompasses the Avenger series is no longer an item of interest, along with pretty much all the films within it(Exceptions being Guardians of the Galaxy) and pretty much all MCU films going forward. If you're into the superhero stuff, ignore this and just go buy things.

I have never heard of Shang Chi being part of the Marvel universe before. I really didn't know what to expect. I purchased the 4k blu-ray and I was blown away by the story telling, action scenes and some comedy. This is something totally different from Marvel and I love it! This is a must buy for my collection!

Love the movie. Fun and wild action. Love the characters and their story. It looks like they will fit in great to the MCU. 4K and extras great but I have a 3D TV and wish you could get it in 3D. Got the Steel Book in honor of my dad (recently passed away) who started me collecting all the MCU movies that way.

Grew up on comic books and had never heard of Shang-chi. I was hesitant at first thinking the was just filling a politically correct need for an Asian superhero, but the movie was AWESOME! Nice character development, awesome action scenes, great message. I'm impressed--liked it more than Black Panther!

This film does for Asian Americans what Black Panther did for African Americans. It features some of the best fight scenes in the MCU and introduce some well done Wuxia/martial arts elements are feel genuine. The steelbook cover could have used some more creativity, by overall looks pretty good.

I love this movie shang chi it's a nice interim story in the marvel cinematic universe and I love the 4K slipcover with all the special features very good product can't wait for the next marvel movie to come out or any good movie to come out that has a great slipcover.

Steelbook design could have been more exciting, but the movie looks fantastic! The only complaint I have is that right after I pre-ordered this, Disney + released their IMAX Enhanced version which looks much better. Either way, great movie!
