First off, I love the movie. It is my second favorite marvel movie of 2021. The story was fun and the action kept me entertained. As far as the disc, the picture quality is great. I found it to be a looker. The sound, however, is not the best. Disney sometimes drops the ball on sound mixes and this one is one of those. Bass and dynamic range aren't near as present when compared to a lot of my other discs. If you are not watching through a surround sound system, this won't be noticable though.

Looks like Shang-Chi will be one of the newest members of the Marvel Studio Family. This movie has a great story line and lots of action. A family worn apart by the death of the mother. Then, reunited to fight a common cause. This is a movie with a message, and great entertainment.

Shang-Chi delivers an excellent narrative, brilliantly choreographed action packed fight sequences, and takes key elements from both Eastern and Western filmmaking styles to deliver a truly amazing movie that all Marvel fans must see.

It’s Marvel MCU. What do you expect? Although the MCU is not sticking with the traditional Marvel comics storyline we all grew up with, it’s good to see that the Marvel MCU is exploring less known characters in the MCU. A little culture ethnicity that’s not too tacky made this film fit just right in.

After 20 other MCU films, Shang-Chi brought a great change of pace. Great visuals, interesting story, terrific martial arts scenes and (not too forced) integration with the MCU. I hope in the Phase 4 that they'll continue to give new writers and directors the reigns of the new movies.

You should be very entertained by this movie: Action, Drama, Humor, Fantasy-Adventure. Simu Liu & Awkwafina play well off each other, & Tony Leung portrays 1 of the most sympathetic Marvel villains you will ever see. I think this is 1 of the best origin movies for a Marvel superhero ever made!

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings is basically the MCU's take on a martial arts movie. Chinese mythology, over-the-top action, and colorful special effects are the rule here. There are a few awkward moments, but hey...when Disney is involved it's to be expected. It's a pretty good showcase piece for 4K as well, with its high-flying CGI effects and a nice soundtrack to boot. Overall this is one of the MCU's better movies as of late, so I say give it a chance.

The movie starts off with the characters speaking in chinese, this only lasts for a few minutes and the movie starts with fast action and is well worth watching. Marvel hit it right on the button with this new action character.

I'll admit, I had low expectations for this movie. But, it almost blew me away. The movie was so much better than I thought it would be, then again the MCU really hasn't made a bad movie (in my opinion) recently. Definitely worth watching, especially if you are a fan of the MCU.

Really good movie. I have just started watching the marvel movies. This one was super. Purchased it the day it came out as I had watched it on Disney+ to see if I liked it. It didn’t fail to please! Happy with purchase.

First; The technical aspects are fine. Sight & Sound are Solid. I quite probably should have gone Blu-Ray on this for the glitzy CGI visuals.....maybe someday I will. Now..as to the material.... If Shang Chi did not already exist for me; this movie might have created him. No, I`m not going all Zen here. I am a Shang Chi fan from WAAAY BACK in the 1970s. The 'Master Of Kung Fu' comic went far beyond the 70`s 'Kung Fu Craze' that spawned it. It gets slammed these days due to some elements; the racially-biased cliche` depiction of the villain of the piece; Dr. Fu Manchu, and the yellowish ink used to depict all Asian characters in the comic.. It was a product of it`s time. However; the Shang Chi character was striking. A philosophically-inclined Master of violence, who fought and fought...hating not his opponent, but the fight itself. His adventures were James Bond level escapism as he traveled the world, assisting British Secret Service in their fight against the insidiously EEEvil Dr. Fu Manchu...Shang Chi`s father. THIS new Shang Chi is more Mysticism than Martial Arts. Flying Dragons and secret societies, Magic . Magic. Magic. (Did I mention that there is Magic?) It`s a fun film. My wife loved it. If I had never 'met' Shang Chi before, I would have felt better about this iteration. As it is; I cannot help but think of what MIGHT have been.

You don't expect this movie to be from Marvel after watching it. That is what I like about Marvel. Every now and then, they surprise you. This movie is extremely entertaining and has great plot points. I highly recommend for any movie lover.

What a pleasant surprise! Blind buy during Black Friday sale. In my opinion one of the best Marvel movies to date. Martial arts excellent! Story excellent! Action scenes amazing! 4K picture and sound are demonstration worthy!

Shang-Chi is one of the top MCU movies! Lots of action, really good plot (even if it is a little cliche), and the Asian mysticism really enthralls. Little surprises here and there, too. It is clear Shang-Chi is going to have a big part to play in the next level of MCU stories.

I used to collect comics and I remember the Shang Chi character and just thought he was just a Bruce Lee clone without and interesting background (it was the 70's by the way..), but this was a very entertaining story and I find myself loving this movie a lot.

This movie was amazing! I wish the steelbox had a better design on it, but that is just me being a steelbox collector. Other than that this is hands down one of the top marvel movies of all time or at least that is my opinion. The martial arts and fight scenes are legit

These Steelbok versions are great! Perfect for any collector. I went in knowing nothing didn't watch trailers and had no expectations. It was kinda long but that doesn't bother me too much as long as I am entertained which I was. Good film, not spectacular but good.

Shang-Chi is a marvel instant classic! Movie starts out a little slow. However, once you get past the first 10 minutes it is on! Action scenes and fights like nobody’s business! This movie is the Bomb! What are you waiting on? Get this movie! The Steelbook is the hit!

This is a great addition to the MCU with new characters and another dimension to the multiverse. There is a lot of martial arts action and beautiful scenery, with each scene created and filmed with great artistic care. The 4K is gorgeous and the steelbook is very cool!
