    After 2 years and 45 days my Shark stopped working and of course the warranty was for only 2 years.....ughhhh

    The purifier and heat components work well. When oscillating, the unit makes a terrible rattling noise After less than 3 months of use, the unit sounds like it is going to break as the noise continues to increase.

    Having high hopes for this device I would have to say it sort of disappoints. The fact that you have to manually turn a knob to be able to activate the heater was a drag if it was a bit further away to want to make it “heat” (which mind you lacked heating anything rather it only emitted a weird funk) I did get this open box so maybe the funk of it was from either previous user (yep I wasn’t given a new filter as it would be more hygienic). So word to the wise some open box items are well worth purchasing but I’d highly suggest one never to get a purifier that’s not brand new.
