Works great no issues after a month use would buy again

Very good product. Very stylish, and easy to use.

Had it a month and getting a rattling from fan. Sometimes the heater works and other times it just randomly shuts heater off. Also would be nice to have some controls built i to machine so you could have the remote elsewhere. Not good value for the high price. Spend a little extra and get a Dyson. Or if you cant do that, spend less on a different brand. Wish i would have tried to return this item when i first had an issue.

This is by far the most disappointing purchase I have ever made. This barely works and makes our electric bill sky rocket. Shark usually makes good products, I’m so disappointed. Was able to use it for about a month but the cost and limited return window left me stuck with this disaster

cheap, bought November 2023 and not even a year, it just died today out of the blues. Turned it off left the house, came back it just won't turn on anymore and its only used for a small bedroom.

I worked for less than4 months and shut off for no reason and now wont turn on so guess catching in my warranty.

It is only controlled with a remote with no physical buttons. And, There is problem turning heat on. I have to keep pressing the heat button repeatedly, and after 10-15 minutes of repeated clicks, it sometimes turns on.

Over the past year, i have found great value in air purification. From the use of the grill, to the baby's diapers to the unfortunate overuse of cannibus from my neighbors, the value of keeping the air "fresh" can't be overstated. I have used Blue Air and Instant air purifiers. They work well, excellent even, but the issue you run into is their size and awkward shape. Being that they have one purpose, dedicating space can offputting. Then we have the Shark 3-in-1 Max. The unit we didn't know we'd truly appreciate. The first notable feature is the shape. Yes, it is still large, but it's moreso vertical, thus savving a bit of real estate in the room. It also feels very solid. I've been a fan of Shark vacs and other electronics for some time, and the quality continues here. Out of the box, there are very few instructions. You get a short quick start on the box, but no physical manual. If you want the bulk of information, they provide a QR code that links to resources and videos. I, personally don't need much, but it would be nice to have a refernece manual. Make sure you do this before powering up as there are a few key notes to adhere to. Once powered on, the value becomes apparent. Excellent purification, powerful fan and heater and several other bells and whistles. Being in SoCal, we are always looking for ways to be more efficient with space and energy usage. We have been able to eliminate one fan and a space heater. We have gained space and, for sure, will be able to save some money on the electric bill come cooler weather. Small features that push it over the top: removable remote, timer, oscillation and air/purification combo modes. Having the fan double up to blow out fresh air is something we didn't realize we wanted, but now have grown to love. For purification, it works just as efficiently as any other costly units I have owned and tackles odors swiftly and effectively. It also covers up to 1000ft, so i'm comfortable knowing wherever I place it, it's going to get the job done. Great device and concept. Wish I had known about it sooner!

Got this item and after the second day, the filter function has not changed from zero.

I put this near dirty cat boxes down in a spot I knew could use some filtering and the IQ read air quality 100%. I boxed it back up and returned it immediately.

Not great died. Sorry love best buy you are great!

It keeps failing good for a year and then it stops working on my 3rd one warranty period saved me

The heater is very large and does not work in every area. See it before you buy it.

This is my review of the Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1 Max Model HC501 which I give 4 out of 5 stars. This is my first review of an air purifier and this product appears to cover all the bases.  Not only does it purify the air it also does so with a purified heat option.  The heat option will be good to get the chill out of the air along with its 1,000 sq. ft. max cleaning area.  This product is very easy to set-up with plastic cling wraps all over the device to help you navigate the controls to include its removable remote control.  This remote is like a thin hockey puck that sticks magnetically to the top of the unit to keep it in place when not needed to operate from a distance.  I did find it odd that this is not a smart device being connected by Wi-Fi.  I believe Shark missed the boat on this as most home products are smart allowing for firmware updates to allow for performance upgrades via Wi-Fi and control via ones smart phone/device.  This produced a 1-star reduction in this review.   For its initial test, I set this product up in my living room to try in a large room.  I set the product into purified air, auto mode.  This mode works best for my household and our two cats as to avoid blowing air on them via the front vent and blowing cat hair around.  The product told me my air was 98% clean with 2 hours to clean.  It worked just as expected with real time feedback with use of the Information button on the device and remote.   For its second test, I set this product up in my laundry room which also houses two cat litter boxes.  This is now where the rubber meets the road!  I kept the device in the same purified air, auto mode.  I was expecting the unit to start running in overdrive to battle the cat litter dust potentially in the air.  The device stated my air was 98% clean once again??  BUT, it did manage to back up to 100%   Another thing I found odd is when I clean the two litter boxes.  One would think the device would show a low percentage of clean air right afterwards.  The device changed from its previous 100% clean air and down just to 99%.  The device ran for approximately 30-minutes and was back up to 100%!  It also does neutralize the litter box odors in the laundry room giving the air an ionized like smell.  This Shark Air Purifier 3-in-1 Max device is a very versatile device with multi-filtration options of Purified Fan (cool), Purified Fan (heat), Purified Air.  The Nanoseal HEPA Filter with Microban is stated to last from 6 - 12 months and the device is protected with a 2-year warranty.  I just wish this device was controlled by a Wi-Fi smart app versus a line of sight remote control.  Not having the ability to see the status of the device via a smart app I find myself making trips to the laundry room to verify its status.  I hope you enjoyed reading my review and it help you in your purchasing decision.

If anything goes wrong, it is a pain in the azzz to resolve. There are no resources available to resolve any issues. The remote of horrible and died within the first day of use. Do not purchase.

I’m not sure which part of the air it’s purifying but it doesn’t do well with smells and odors which still linger around for hours. I guess it Kerri’s the air clean but even with different smells in the air, it’ll still be on 100 most of the time. This is supposed to be one of the best.

I have had many air filters in recent years and this Share Air Purifier 3 in 1 Max does all the same things as my favorites along with one new feature to me that I really appreciate. When in auto mode and your air is clean, it goes into low power mode instead running at the lowest fan setting. I only get purifiers that have an auto mode. When they sense worse air they turn up the fan to move more air in and out. Once clean, they drop to the lowest fan setting. While great, one issue with that is that it obviously uses energy when it doesn't need to. I think that might also has an effect on filter life. This solves that while retaining the ability to kick on when needed. Set up was easy. Unpack and pull off the plastic, plug in and choose how you want to use it. It has a remote that you can keep near you or sticks on top magnetically. I left it on top since I mostly run in auto mode. But since this also is a fan and heater, I tested both. It works just like a fan or space heater would. You have to turn a knob on the side to go from just air purifier to cool/heat. Then choose whichever you want on the remote and choose the fan speed. You can also choose to stay straight or oscillate. I'm not sure how often I'll use the cooling fan because it's in a room with a ceiling fan, but come winter this will be great for some additional warmth in the family room. I have a 2 story and only one HVAC unit, so if we make it warm downstairs it's far too hot upstairs. So this will help us stay warmer without having to add too many layers. Overall, the air smells fresher and it works exactly as you'd expect. One note, this does not have an app for control. I only mention it in case you care. All my other purifiers do, but quite honestly, I don't miss it. I would highly recommend this.

I gave this as a gift and they love it. It purifies the air along with giving you heat in the winter and cool air in the summer. Great gift at a great price
