    If you are expecting it to completely remove the food smells from your living room then you need to shop around. The air filter will save you from pollen but not food smells.

    I wasn't sure about the air quality aspect until I experienced a small fire in my kitchen. Air quality went from 100% to 0%. Took about 3 days to get back to 100% and it took about that time to notice the odor took about that time to go away.
