Bought because customer service said this would work for our situation. I specified that the home we rent had KILZ treatment applied above closet (area behind drywall cutout due to A/C leak and mold) directly across from the kitchen, that the KILZ primer was applied 24 hrs before and (if you know, you KNOW) it stinks and is causing problems with venhilation. Asked if they were sure it was approbed for removing/reducing the fumes/offgassing of this KILZ primer. They said yes. Husband buys Shark Clean Sense Purifier 500. I open it , whip out instructions. LO AND BEHOLD, WARNING # 17: Do not use in: (PART C) Spacea that are enclosed and may contain explosive or toxic fumes or vapors (lighter fluid, gasoline,kerosene, PAINT, PAINT THINNERS, mothproofing substances, or flammable dust). So yes, got my hopes up and was a waste of time. I'm sure it would be great for listed acceptable issues though, Shark is a good brand.(I have their vaccuum).

This was a purchase for my daughter for Christmas and it definitely was a great choice! It is quiet and does the job! I would highly recommend!

This air purifier has been a total game changer for my sinuses. I used to sniffle and sneeze all the time in the bedroom, but ever since I got this, I've been sleeping peacefully and feeling better around the house. I'm getting another one for downstairs too. The screen display is awesome—you can see the air quality of your room, and the auto feature kicks the unit on and off as needed. 10/10 would buy again.

This is an amazing product. Very easy to operate and I could tell a huge difference in the air quality the very first day I used it. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with pets or allergies.

Seems to work great. Very quite and like all the different setting it has from tiny microscopic particles to dust particles. The timer is a great feature too!

The size of the unit surprised me. After a month, I couldn't believe the amount the unit removed dust and pet dander. I would recommend this for a room. I don't do reviews till after a month.

Good looking and right size. Not too big and not too heavy. Enjoy the auto feature and seems to work well.

Before I use this product I have a cats and dogs in my house and probably we are noticeable the smell in the house but people that they don’t live in the house. I’m pretty sure they feel that smell but after we buy this product my house smell a clean air. It’s pretty good

This cleans the air and smells very well! I had some smoke in my house from something burning and this picked up on the bad air quality immediately, alerting me something was wrong.

I have been using for several months now, and it has helped tremendously. My house feels fresher, and the air feel crisper. I have 2 large dogs, and I have had to replace my air filter already: it was super easy to replace, and I thought very inexpensive. I have since purchased a second one for the second floor of the house.

For the price this is the best single room air purifier Ive owned. Not to big and very quiet when kept at the second speed which still moves a decent amount of air. The display is very nice and the touch buttons are a nice touch. Plenty of features and the air is noticeably better. I will say tho I wish it came with a remote but I purchased one from sharks website $30 bucks shipped and the smartsense feature is neat but it doesnt seem to work for what you’d expect. If set to auto it claims to turn off when the air is clean but not when smells are gone. My room was dusty and it wouldnt trigger the air purifier to turn on automatically however when I blow my vape at it it triggers it instantly and it goes into turbo mode. Your best bet is too find a speed you like and leave it there if you truly want a clean smelling room. Otherwise it will barely turn on unless your a smoker or if you burn something while cooking and even still your best bet is to turn it up manually.
