Definitely have cleaner quality air from smell alone. I've been sleeping pretty well even when I don't mouth tape. Our kids seem to be waking up less as well (we all have allergies). The smaller rooms are about 12x10ish and this is more than sufficient.

Also noticed for small rooms this air purifier made the air a little more cool. I was also surprised that it works well with odors.
